I absolutely loved TOUCH. I was captivated from the very first page and did not want to stop until I had devoured every last word. It was full of action and adventure and I never knew what crazy twist was going to be revealed next. Deznee and Kale's slowly building relationship was so sweet and refreshing. I adored them separately and I LOVED them together. Kale's innocence in all the small things in their relationship made it the most adorable thing I had ever read! Deznee is a strong, independent, and smart-ass character, that I adored!

I love a good ghost story so I was really excited to pick up Anna Dressed in Blood. I liked that it was written from a male point of view. Cas was a fun character to read about. He was smart, strong, and funny. Thomas and his grandfather were my favorite characters. They were both quirky, exciting, and completely unique. The character of Anna (the ghost) was great, but not nearly scary enough for my tastes. I was really hoping to get into a good scary ghost story that kept me up at night and this sadly fell short in that area.

Ashlyn's story begins with her fathers death. When she finds herself lifting the EMT, who is a male that is well over twice her size, off his feet and slamming him into his ambulance just like she saw on that action movie the other day, she just thinks it's the adrenaline. Her cranky Memaw, who has always been telling her crazy tales of Irish folklore, thinks otherwise and sends her to meet family in Ireland. It's not long before Ashlyn discovers that all of the crazy lore her Memaw has been telling her is more true then she ever could have imagined.

I didn't really know what to expect going into Bridger. There are so many different takes on the Fae, some that I have truly loved and some not so much. I really loved the way that Megan Curd has wove the Changelings and Fae and Irish lore together. There were times that I felt the info dumps were a little confusing, but most of the time it was easy to catch on and I loved how I could imagine each creature, person, and Fae so perfectly in my head.

Overall, I was swept away from the very first page of Carrier of the Mark, and I found myself thinking about it for a long time after it was over. I know that I will be anxiously awaiting more from Leigh Fallon, and suggest that those who enjoy a romance, and paranormal action in their YA, pick this one up!

From the moment I saw the creepy cover of Frost I was hooked. I knew that I wanted to pick this one up. I'm even more glad to discover that it's one of those books that the contents actually match what the cover is portraying. Frost House is creepy as it appears, but is it the house itself, or the people living in it?

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins completely blew me away and has resided at the top of my favorites list for a long time, so I did not believe that this book would be able to take it's place. Then something strange happened. As I began to read about the fashion crazy Lola and all the amazing people that revolved around her, that's exactly what happened. Lola kicked Anna right off her high horse and took her place on the throne of amazing book platform number ONE.

I am a big fan of Tera Lynn Child's Mermaid series, so I was really looking forward to reading Sweet Venom. Greek myth, Gorgon triplets separated at birth and reunited as teens to fulfill their monster fighting destiny! How could I not be dying to read it? Sweet Venom started off with a bang and from there it told the story of sisters who find each other, and find themselves, and maybe their destiny along the way.

Perfect is a companion novel to Ellen Hopkin's Impulse. It begins with the life of Cara, the twin of Conner. Conner was the broke and damaged boy in Impulse. Perfect's timeline begins at the same place for Cara that Impulse began for Conner, so it shadows her journey as Conner is in Aspen Springs, and what is going on in her and her parents life. As she is trying to be the perfect daughter to them, and as she is trying to find herself.

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer was one of my most anticipated reads of the year. The cover of this book is absolutely stunning and the the simple synopsis captured my attention and left me guessing to the thrills I would discover in the pages. I was so glad to find that I was not the least bit disappointed.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved that it was told from a male perspective, yet I was still able to connect with the characters and the story so completely. It would switch between the point of view of Ryder, the Witchlander, who was the main narrator, and sometimes Falpain, the Baen. I really loved both of these characters. I also loved getting to read a story about two male characters who are connecting on a magical level, and who are connecting from enemies to friends. This wasn't a book about a romance, which was a refreshing thing for me, and not something I get to read very often.
