more »I'm an avid reader and compulsive list maker. For the last five or so years, I have written down every book I've read. I got this idea while working in the library. There was this old man who came in with his notebook so that he wouldn't check out the westerns that he'd already read. I also watch my father struggle to remember if he's read a book before.
That said, all the books on my shelf are books that I've read. It's not nearly a complete list as I read a lot of Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Sweet Valley High, etc when younger.
My reading list is mostly books checked out of the library. However, that might include a book that I just purchased or one from my personal library that has been moved to the top of the "to-be-read" list. :)
And of course, the wish list is just that. Books that I hope to read and/or buy in the near future.
