That makes sense. Truth is that I have yet to read 'A Deepness in the Sky'. I will plan on also getting to 'CotS' when I have an appropriate block of time for them both. So many books to get to... Anyway, thank you for the the update. I hope you have safe travels!
Reposting my question from the sci-fi list: "I have 'Children of the Sky' on my TBR list. Are you finding it too boring to finish? Or is there another reason you have set it aside for now?"
The series is too full of great characters for me to pick one. Kruppe is awesome, so is Iskaral Pust.Wait till the 5th book, where believe it or not, the series takes a completely unexpected turn and you realise by the 6th book, that book 1-5 have really been prologues to the main story !!!And you meet 2 of my personal favourites in book 5. Happy reading ...
"this Malazan series is like some drug"You bet :)I am reading all the balance in the series back to back.Where did you reach, so far?
drm, have you tried thrillers with a detective twist? I suggest for fast action, with enough twists and turns to make Sherlock Homes smile, you try reading James Patterson's "Alex Cross" series. Another 5 star is Lee Child's "Jack Reacher" series.
:D. i just downloaded leibowitz. i loved lord of light. but it's pretty hard going.
heylong time. what's up? reading anything interesting these days? i'm desperate enough to try buying an eboopk reader to restart reading. feel guilty about buying/borrowing books which i return unread, so i hope this will take care of that, at least. :-)
