One becomes what one reads. There have been many books that have inspired me to be who I am today. I learnt painting, cartooning, computing, multimedia, graphics, music... even most of medicine only through books. My paintings would not have been what they are without the influence of the "psychology of watercolours " taught by Ron Ranson. My own ideas have been shaped by many great people through their writings - as Robin Sharma says "some of their genius actually rubs off of you". From when I can remember, at least 75% of my pocket money was always spent on books and the fact that they fill up so many actual bookshelves at home can put my virtual shelf here to shame!
