ABOUT ME:
WELL, I'M A DIVORCED SINGLE MOM OF TWO WONDERFUL TEENAGERS. I'VE BEEN DIVORCED FOR ALMOST 13 YEARS. AND IT'S BEEN JUST MY CHILDREN AND I. MY KID'S ARE MY LIFE, MY PARENTS DIVORCED WHEN I WAS 3 AND I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS ON A CHILD FOR THE PARENTS TO BRING OTHER PEOPLE INTO THERE LIVES SO I OPTED TO RAISE MY CHILDREN AS A SINGLE PARENT FOR THAT REASON AND PUT MY PERSONAL LIFE ON THE BACK BURNER TIL THEN AND GIVE THEM AS MUCH STABILITY AS I COULD. I DON'T REGRET IT A BIT.
I HAVE A BLACK LAB THAT IS MY HEART! HIS NAME IS ROWDY AND HE'S SOMETHING ELSE BELIEVE ME! LOL MY KITTY'S NAME IS CHEYENNE, SHE'S A SWEETY.. AND I'M BIG INTO MY 55 GALLON FISH TANK TOO! OH LORD, I CAN'T FORGET THE HAMSTER FUZZY LUMPKINS! LOL
I LOVE TO READ, IT'S MY PASSION AND MY SANCTUARY WHEN THE GOING GET'S TOUGH LET ME TELL YA!(NOT THAT YOU COULDN'T TELL THIS BY LOOKING AT MY PAGE RIGHT?) LOL I'M LUCKY ALSO BECAUSE BOTH OF MY CHILDREN ARE AVID READERS ALSO! THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN VERY OFTEN THAT I KNOW OF IN A FAMILY!
I'M VERY FAMILY ORIENTATED. MY FAMILY HAS BEEN A BLESSING TO ME IN SO MANY WAYS, I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM VERY MUCH!! MY FRIENDS, (WHO ARE VERY DEAR TO ME AND I LOVE DEARLY ALSO) AND MY CHILDRENS FRIENDS HAVE BEEN SUCH A BIG PART OF OUR LIVES FOR SO LONG (THE KIDS HAVE KNOWN MOST OF THERE FRIENDS SINCE PRE-SCHOOL OR KINDERGARTEN)THAT I DON'T SEPERATE THEM INTO A FRIENDS/FAMILY CATEGORY, THEY ALL GO INTO THE FAMILY CATEGORY AS THEY SHOULD!
THE REASON I'M HERE:
Reading is my passion, I started out reading Historical Romance and have since moved on to Paranormal Romance. I have my shelf's full of the book's that I call my "read over and over book's" These are series book's from fantastic authors! Again, give me Highlanders, Vampires and Werewolf's and I'm your girl! Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series, Christine Feehan's Carpathian series, Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series, Tara Janzing's Crazy series (not paranormal), Maggie Shayne's Twilight series, and J. R Ward. Nina Bang's, and Katie MacAllister, are also awesome. And I have a whole list of new author's that I want to check out! Woo Hoo!
A FEW OF MY PRIVATE INTRESTS ARE:
Spending time with my children, Playing with my black lab Rowdy (he's my baby!), My computer, I enjoy chatting with my group friend's and my family, Reading, Writing Poetry, Cooking/Baking, Music, and movies. I also collect Native Amercan thing's, and angels.(plates, doll's, pictures, etc..) I love being out and planting my flowers in the Summer! Sitting out and enjoying them when there in full bloom, listening to the bird's chattering and the squirrels scampering about..
MUSIC INTRESTS:
first and formost, BON JOVI.... I listen to pretty much all kinds of music though, oldies, country, rock, classic rock, pop, what ever i'm in the mood for... I love Daughtry, he rock's, and Blake Shelton. Other's I love are Sugarland, Clay Walker, Leanne Rimes(her new stuff), Garth Brook's, Nickleback, Fergi (some of her songs), Lifehouse, Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Duran Duran, Panic At The Disco! (some songs), Elvis, Tom Jones, this could go on and on....lol I also LOVE Celtic music or Native American Flute Music, it's very soothing to my soul..
I can't stand hard rock, or that crap where there screaming and you can't make out what the heck they are saying! I'm not big on blues either, just depend's on what type of blues song it is I guess.. And about the only rap I can stand is Will Smith, L L Cool J (some), Eminem, and a few other song's otherwise nope..lol
MOVIE/T.V INTRESTS:
First and formost, ANYTHING with Jon Bon Jovi in it! I am also an action and adventure girl, Speed, War Of The Worlds, The Mummy 1 and 2, Kull, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Troy, etc. I also like horror movies to a point, I can't do devil possesion or demon's it totally freak's me out but just about anything else is cool! I'm a big Vampire/Werewolf fan, give me Van Helsing, Interview With A Vampire, Underworld, Underworld Evolution, and Blade 1, 2, and 3 and I'm a happy girl! LOL Other movies I also absolutely loved are The Covenant, Transformers, The Lake House, Pirates Of The Carribean 1, 2, and 3, The Bourne Series, Die Hard Series, (this could go on and on also! lol)......
Let's get to t.v shall we?
Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Moonlight, Charmed (re-runs now), Supernatural,Ghost Whisperer, Medium, Smallville, American Idol, Dancing With The Stars, Celebrity Duets, Bones, Law and Order SVU, Stargate SG-1(re-runs now, it ended in 2007, I was very sad), Stargate Atlantis, Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International, House, The Dead Zone (who knew the geek would grow up to be such a hunk?), and I love the re-run's of Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Hercules The Legendary Journey's, Andromeda. I also watch alot of Forensic Files, Psychic Detectives, The Discovery Channel, and The Food Network (Paula Deen, Tyler Florence, Ace Of Cakes, and Diners Drive-in and Dives Rock!)
