I'm an avid reader of escapist literature, sci-fi, murder mystery series such as R.B. Parker’s Spencer, Bill Pronzini's no-name detective, spy novels, and thrillers. My library card was well used from an early age. My interest in history and non-fiction books has grown steadily over the years, having read far more books than I can possibly remember. I think Benjamin Franklin lived one of the more fascinating lives in American history, to name one, knowing that many heroic people lived with only the briefest histories of their lives being recorded.

Being a distant, non-magical cousin of the Weasleys, I have especially enjoyed tails of his adventures with that young fella, the wizard Potter, at Hogwarts. « less
