Thanks for prayers. Che has a good life for years. He was fifteen years as he died. I am very blessed to have him all these years. Now I am still around dogs when I go petsittin.. we will get another dog one day .

I traveled to Texas the last couple of summers, so we may not go there for a couple of years. My Dad is coming here in October, and my mom came out in August. The siblings will just have to drive or fly in during the next couple of years if they want to see us. We are spread out all over the country - a brother and sister in California, a sister in Montana, Dad and sister in Texas, and my Mom is in Vancouver. Yes we are a modern family! :)

I know that Texas is a dry at the moment. We seem to be wet right now. We'll hope we make it through the Hurricane Season with no real damage here in the Carolinas, and we always hope the same for our friends and relatives in Texas. Well, I'm going to do some Scout Leader stuff now. I lead the troop for my 11 year old daughter. Have a great week!
