Will Turner: This is either madness or brilliance.
Capt. Jack Sparrow: It's remarkable how often those two traits coincide.

Friendship seekers...
If you'd like to be my friend, please send me a note along with your invite...I tend to reject friendship requests without notes as I am lazy and don't like to have to search someone's profile or shelf to see why they sent me a friend invite.
I come from a long line of bookworms, the most voracious of which are my mother, sister and my late grandmother. It was only natural that I would follow in their footsteps:) I'm generally in the minority when it comes to opinions of books. I'm a harsh critic mainly because I am a recovering English major! It's not easy overcoming years of analyzing every minute detail of every novel and every line of poetry...it's made me a very picky and critical reader. That said, I do have a love for brain candy...I think everyone needs something light and escapist every now and then...
Things I adore: cats, Mr. Darcy, dogs, squirrels, dragonflies, chocolate, Colin Firth, gardening, the country, men in uniform, purple, British accents, The Commitments, courteous people, Viggo Mortensen, Target, Daedalus Books, Hugh Jackman, cars, Mr. Rochester, roses, Russell Crowe, Michael Buble, Shrek, Dancing with the Stars, Jimmy Eat World, comedies, Antonio Banderas:)
Things I abhor: Wuthering Heights, Heathcliff (Nothing will change my mind! He's horrid.), rude people, people who have to have the last word, rush hour traffic, people who overwrite their books, gratuitous violence, football, stupid drivers, the city, 99% of reality television, long lines, hype, Tom Cruise, loud neighbors, people who think they're always right, American Idol, animal cruelty, depressing books, depressing movies, triteness, Grey's Anatomy, littering, chewing gum, sandals that slap when you walk
Some favorite quotes:“I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity.” Edgar Allan Poe
"I do not want people to be agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them." Jane Austen
"A cat is more intelligent than people believe, and can be taught any crime." Mark Twain
Favorite line from a book: "What had she been thinking of as the car sailed off the bridge, then hung suspended in the afternoon sunlight, glinting like a dragonfly for that one instant of held breath before the plummet?" The Blind Assassin, Margaret Atwood. Just brilliant.
Worst line from a book: "Why was I so fearful? She had time only to phrase the question to herself before sleep unpicked its grammar." Charlotte Gray, Sebastian Faulks. I'm sorry, but this is the dumbest thing I've read in a long time.
