    Hey!

At the end I didn't get dressed up:( but we did have a blast specially the girls:) It was fun, cold but fun.
We went on base like I was telling you and some of the houses were really spooky looking, specially one with huge spiders on the front *shivering* it was really scary!

Oh, no! I'm sorry you had to work:( well, maybe next year!

I know! We decided to spend Thanksgiving in Garmisch in the Bavaria region with some friends, we found this hotel on top of a mountain and the only way to reach it is by cable car. And there's absolutely nothing around, you are surrounded by mountains (I was thinking nice scenario for a horror movie;) The town it's right below so we can go out and about douring the day. I can't wait! I love the Bavaria region it's absolutely stunning during all the seasons. Have you ever seen the music video by George Michael "Last Christmas"? it looks just like that!

Christmas we will be down in Italy visiting my family this year but we will be back in Germany for New Year's Eve.
I know what you mean, I am too all ready fretting over what to get for everybody! In the States it's easy, I usually get gift cards for everybody and than they go get whatever they want but in Italy it's harder because they don't have a clue what a gift card is!!! I know.... that's Italy for you:)
Another thing I usually do when I have to get something is google it; like I don't know, "gifts for a five year old" or something like that! It's helpful;)

No I haven't read it yet:( see, the thing with living over sea is that we get everything you guys have but it takes forever to get here; they don't even have The Darkest Whisper yet and it's been out for a while:(
Tonight finally Terrence will order those books though:))) he's finally back from all the TDYs and I'm sitting here waiting for him to come up in the studio so we can order:)))) I'm super happy *dancing the happy dance here*

I'm currently reading "Megan's Mark" by Lora Leigh and I really like it, in fact I put all the Breed books on my wish list;)
I have a couple at home and I'm pretty sure I'm going to devour them while I wait for my order to get here.

Everything else here is fine:) it's not too cold yet and today I spent the day outside cleaning the yard (Terrence thought I hired somebody to do it *shaking my head*)
    And you? How's North Carolina?

    Hugggsssss & Kisses:)

What about you? Doing anything tonight? I love Halloween and I was thinking to get dressed up too this year, that will definatly freak my friends up;)
    Yeah, got to do it!
What about you girl? Doing anything tonight?

    Hey girl!

Don't worry, I know you'll answer when you can;)

You know, I was the same when I went to the library! Checking out books several times:) It's too funny!

Tomorrow Terrence gets back and we aill order me some books:) I'm so happy!
I was actually arguing with my "wish list" to see what I wanted next/first and after an hour of pondering I chose:
-books number 3&4 of the dark Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost, I loved the first two Cat kicks butt and Bones is super hot!
-Than the last Argenau book, The Renegade Hunter by Linsay Sands
-The Darkest Whisper by our girlfriend G. Showalter (I can't wait to read it!)
-CF's book number 2 Dark Desire I'm trying to re-establish a reading order here!
-Deep Kiss of Winter by our two fav gals, let me say it: FINALLY
-Key of valor by N. Roberts book number 3
-Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh (thank you for introducing me to this awesome series!)
    -Witch Blood by Anya Bast
-Never Been Witched by Annette Blair
I'm being greedy and I probably wont be able to order them all in once but it doesn't hurt to try;)

The Key Trilogy talks about this three women that are chose to find three keys that will free the souls of three goddesses from a powerful sorcerer. Each has a full moon-cycle to complete her task and find the key, if the first one succeed than it's up to the second one and than the third (three books) if one fail than no souls go free and they loose one year of their lives but if they all succeed than they get one milion $ each.
It's a nice trilogy, I finished a couple days ago book 2, Key of Knowledge and I can't wait to see how it ends on book3!

No, I didn't get yet the Born of night book yet, is it good? I'm currently reading SK & DL's Whispered Lies from the BAD series and it's good; I'm trying to make it last a little because even thought I have some books I haven't read yet at the house there's nothing really that I want to read yet... Well, maybe JAK White Lies, have you read it? If so did you like it?
Should I give it a go?

I just LOVE when TBR are scary, it makes me giddy:)

The weather here it's ugly, more reasons to stay at home and read;)
We went from t-shirt weather last week to "one sweater is not enough" for the past four days! I actually had to turn the heaters on full time! Yesterday morning it was 34F and windy. And today it started raining:(
Terrence has been in Garmisch, Bavaria for the past week and it was snowing there, he said yesterday morning there was a foot of snow and it's only middle October!
I guess we can go skiing early this year;)

You have a great day too girl and take care!

    Hugs Ingrid:)

    Hey girl:)

I know something about birthday party:) I just had Nicole on saturday, but after Asia's last year I promised myself not to have another kids b-day party at the house if I can avoid it! Let me tell you, kids go nuts when it's not their house!!!
So we went to this indoor playground (they are everywhere here in Germany) and the kids had a blast while the adults enjoyed themselves at the table;)

Since I'm short on books I'm re-reading the Dark Hunters series, which is good because like you said with all the new people popping up I needed to re-acquaint my self with the characters... I was getting a little confuse:)

I LOVE her BAD series, I don't have her last one but I was hoping to be able to pick it up this weekend when we go on base (if they haven't sold out yet). I like Retter too:) he's something!

Yeah, I know what you mean, nut case over here *pointing at myself* my friend Cristina suggested for me to go to the library but I just don't want to read a book that I have to give back... it has to be mine.... all mine *evil laugh* (told you I'm a nut case;)) besides, knowing me, I go and buy the book even after I've read it, I might not even open it after I got it but I have to have it!

I have to check out Shannon K. Butcher I haven't read anything of her so far but your suggestions are always great!

As of right now I'm reading Nora Roberts "Key of light" which is the first book of her Key trilogy, so far it's good but I just started it.
    What about you? Anything good?

    Hey to you too:)

    How are you doing?
Here all is well, the girls are back in school so now I have a little more time for myself:)
How is everything going? I saw you've read BMR, did you like it?
My tbr pile is crying, I'm in desperate need to get new books but it will have to be a while:(
Meanwhile, I decided to re-read all the Dark Hunters, I was starting to get confused with all the characters:)
And I picked up two books from the BAD series always by SK, it's not para but I still like it!
The bookshelves on base are poor now days, they haven't restock yet so you have to make do with what you can find:)
Maybe when Terrence gets back from Belgium I can convince him to order some new books at B )
And you? Reading anything interesting lately?
You have a great day too!

    Hey there!

Yes, we are enjoying ourselves:) Last Friday we went to the beach down at Camp LeJeune with the kids and my brother-in-law (he's in the Marines) and than the weekend we've been busy with the family.
Today we went to Raleigh and than on Saturday we leave to go to Maggie Valley and the Cherokee until Tuesday and I'm ecxited because I've never been to the mountains here in NC so it's gonna be fun:)

Can't wait to finally meet you on Thursday:)

Lol! That's the italian for you!!! Yes, I meant to say 4:00pm:)

Yes, Cracker Barrel is good; last year when we came over for Christmas we went three times because Terrence loves their turkey pot pies and they were always out, he was so mad... anyways, the last time we went he was so upset because they still didn't have any that his mother went and asked the manager how was it possible that they were always out and so we found out that they served them only one day per week (wish we've known that!) and when the manager found out about the ordeal he invited Terrence to go eat for free the next time that they had them!
It was very nice... unfotunately we were leaving in the next couple of days so we couldn't go:)

Yes, it was very nice and I guess sometimes he does listen:)
I'm reading it right now and I'm all ready in to it.

I have to try her pirate trilogy, I love pirates stories!

And with this I leave you... I have to go pack!
We leave tomorrow morning around 7am and this time we have a cool flight, Frankfurt/Charlotte Charlotte/Jacksonville.
Usually we have to take several airplanes.

    Talk to you soon!

If you like mexican you've got to try it!
I can't wait, that and Cracker Barrel are my favourite places, I'm drooling just thinking about it!

Let's do the 23rd than, is it ok around 16:00? Or whenever is best for you:)

I've never read Jennifer Ashley, now you've made me curious, I have to go check her out.
My man just picked up the last LS book I was missing, he found it in a PX like four hours from here!
I guess I trained him good *giggling here*

Yes, I agree with you CF is a good author but I couldn't read all her books one after the other, I think I will space it out with something else in between books; I have so many contemp I need to sink my eyes in to it at home it's unbelievable.

Yes, the mexican food was good! But than I love mexican food, when we are in NC I love going at "Mi Cabana" (I hope I spelled it right!) in Jacksonville I don't know if you ever been there, I always get their enchiladas suprime *sighing* it's gooood!!!

What do you think about Friday the 24th? Maybe around 16:00?
The first week I'm gonna be a little busy between family and check up appointments.

Yes, LS is good, I love her sense of humor:)
I finished last night "Vampires are forever", I really liked it and I just started "Vampires, Interrupted" and I all ready like it:)

Twilight is very good, I'm usually not in to YA books but I really liked this one.
I know what you mean, I'm the same way, sometimes you just need to read something different:)
When the mood calls for it I like a good Dean Koontz or a contemporary romance, I used to love historicals but got tired of the "descriptions" parts. I was reading on LS's web site that she also writes historicals and wanted to give it a try and see how they are.

So far I've read three of the Carpatian series and I really liked them, I have on my TBR pile "Murder Game" of the Ghost Walker series but haven't got to it yet, I was waiting to see if I can get the previous books so I can read them in order.
And I want to read also the Drake series...
There's so many good books it's hard to keep up!

    I'm back!
I really had a good time in Italy:)

    B&N and starbuck's sound very good indeed:D
When would it be best for you?
We will be busy the first weekend we are there (18th/19th of July) but besides that I'm pretty much available anytime.

Speaking of reading, I have the last few pages left of "Vampires are forever" by Linsay Sands and than I'm gonna start "Vampire Interrupted" always by her. I have only one book of her series that I'm missing and was thinking about picking it up when we get to the States, here I'm just not able to find it:( and I have to have it, I love her books!!!
And than I want to start getting all the Christine Feehan's Carpatians series and I just pre-ordered the last Sherrilyn Kenyon's book "Bad moon rising", can't wait for that one!
What about you? Reading anything good?

    Hey there:)

We are actually leaving this Friday to go down, from where we live it's about 9 hours by car. Last night the AFN (American Forces Network) was cautioning travellers going in and out of Italy from now up 'till the 15th due to the G8 taking place in Abruzzo so we are going to spend quite a bit of time at the border I'm guessing, and I'm not happy about it!
But besides that I can't wait, on Saturday we are having a dinner with all our friends in a... mexican restaurant! I know, we are in Italy and go eat mexican what is wrong with me!!! But I love mexican food *wiping mouth at the thought* and I cook italian everyday so it's not a big deal:)
And than the 13th we will be in NC! Can't wait!!!
We really have to meet up if you still want to. I was thinking maybe at the Mall in Jacksonville and we can go have coffee or something what do you think?
    You take care too:)

Yup, no A/C! And it's as hot as NC too during the summer!

We will get at the Jacksonville airport on the 13th evening and Terrence's family stays but 10 minutes from there!
And definetly I would love to meet you! Maybe we could meet up at the mall or something and get a drink if you'll like.

    Yup!
That's one of the first things I've learned:)
If you don't like North Carolina's weather wait five minutes, it will change!
It's pretty much like in Italy, at least where I'm from, hot and humid all summer long.
Here in Germany the wheater it's a nicer; warm but there's not all the humidity.
    It makes summers more bearable.
I think between bookstores I'm going to be in Heaven:b

I like books with a little humor, that's why I like Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter and Linsay Sands stuff so much!
I need to put KS's books on my wish list!
They live right outside Beulaville, in a little town called Fountaintown.
Yes, I'm looking forward to it. It will be the first time in six years that we visit during the summer, usually we make a round trip for the month of December but this year our older daughter starts school so from now on we will go during the summer.
I can't wait to go in at B&N and raid the place instead of shopping on-line:)
