Hey girl!I'm glad you liked FDoC! And you have to read the Night Huntress books oh, they are soo good! You gonna fall in love with Bones!!! You know I thought Bowen was it for me but when I "met" Bones.... mmmmm..... I really, REALLY, really like him:-)And I really like Cat too, I like her dry sense of humor and even thought all four books of the series are about them you don't get tired of "hearing" more; I'm looking forward for the next book!Yeah, I know what you mean about the temperature change, this morning I went to take Asia at the bus stop and it was so cold I was wearing: cotton T, fleece shirt, sweather on top AND Carhart jacket! Now? T-shirt and jeans and it's warm out!!! And my throat it's being killing me for the past three days:(I'm planning on grilling on Sunday for Easter (I wanted a more traditional meal but my oven is broke) and I hope it's nice and warm:)Yeah, we had a great time watching cartoons together and she slept with me on the "big" bed (she almost kicked me off) and went to eat pizza at a restaurant just the two of us. It's gonna be fun to see how she does tonight since Terrence and Nicole are due back this evening:)You have a great day too!!!Hugs and Kisses:)
Heyyyyyy!I knowww time flies by so fast it's unbelievable!!!And yes, finally it's spring, even thought it's still a little cold and very rainy, but when it's not I can go out and smell the flowers blooming and it's smell so good it gives me a smile every time:)Oh my, I bet you are busy with two jobs and all just hang on!I hate not being able to read! I become very snappy when that happens:(I really liked First Drop of Crimson and can't wait for the next one to come out which it should be the Egyptian guy story what's his name... Mencheres!!! I went to check:) And I want to read Vlad story, I hope she writes it soon. AN d in August a "Cat & Bones"'s novella is coming out (Gosh I love me some Bones:)) I'm bad I know!!!Yes, I'm happy that for once we don't have to wait a whole year for KC's new book to come out! I can't wait to see what she's gonna come up with next:)We are doing ok, Nicole is down in Italy with Terrence, they left today he had a TDY down there for four days so he took Nicole down so she could visit my parents, Asia and I have the house all to ourselves... it's a little weird not having the little one aka Trouble Maker around. For the rest all is well I did my spring clening... twice (last month we had 70F degrees for a week and than down to 40F again:( Now I don't get exaclty what the weather wants to do, besides having three seasons (no more snow thank God) in one day. I hope it gets warm, and dry, soon so I can start going out with my bicycle a little.Asia has Spring Break on the 12th and we are going down to Italy for a week so I can get stuffed with good cheese and good pizza again:) Can't wait!!!You take care too girl!Hugs Ingrid:)
Hey girl! So, we Terrence talked with his parents yesterday and they saud it was.... snowing again!!!I could not believe it it's practicaly March!!! I'll bet that was weird:)So, I finished PoaDP the other day, as soon as Terrence gave me the box from B&N I was gone:) Did you like it? I did, it was good and I can't wait to see what happens next now:) As usual KC always leaves you there wanting more! Now I'm reading "Bitten by Cupid" where there's a short story by Linsay Sands about her Argenau family.Well, got to go take care of the girls:)Take care!Kisses:)
Hey giiirlllll!!!!I'm happy to see you back!Wow 8 inches.... my in-laws told us it was snowing but I didn't know it was THAT much! You almost had more there than here where I live!I'm with you, I am soo ready for spring too! I like winters but when it gets middle February I'm ready for some sun and some lighter clothes!Congratulation on the new job!!!I'm so happy you like it... and I guess when we come over I'll know where to go to if I need any meds, eh eh eh:)Here all is well, just got back from a weekend in Garmisch where we took the girls to go skying and sledding, they had a blast... I was freezing my butt off but hot chocolate and super hot showers helped a lot!I'll post some pics soon on fb when I have a couple of extra minutes:)My TBR is never been better:) I actually have the last order from B&N coming in on Monday with the new KS in it! Can't wait!!! I just finished re-reading the whole series just to be fresh on what is going on, it's amazing but everytime I read it there's always something I either forgot or didn't notice the first time!I love Lora Leigh's books next order I have to double up on those too. Oh, and I have the new Jeaniene Frost book coming in as well, First Drop of Crimson and I heard it's very good! I love her night huntress series, have you read it? If you haven't you absolutely have to, gosh you are gonna LOVE Bones!!! I had dreams about him *smiling like an idiot*.I have four of Nalini Singh to read and some of Christine Feehan and the new Gena Showalter's novel Heart of Darkness and a couple of her alien huntress series. And than what else... oh, the new Linsay Sands, Bitten by Cupid and the first 8 books on the Sookie Stackhouse series, have you seen the tv show True Blood? Oh-my-God!!!I have to say I'm glad I haven't watched the first episodes with hubby because I would have blushed the whole time!!!I LOVE when my TBR is in a good shape with all my favourite authors lined up for me to pick up and read:)))Let me know how you liked the KC book! I'm sure I will probably read it the minute Terence will bring it home:)Well, got to go get busy!Talk to you later girl!Hugs from me too:)
Hey there! How are you doing? How's the weather in NC? Here it's cold! We had a little bit of snow this morning and I have to say, even though I love winter I can't wait for spring to come!Well, I was just dropping by to say hi!I hope all is well.Hugs & kisses,Ingrid
Welcome to the Paging All Bookworms! Reading Challenge! Looking forward to talking books with you.
Hey girl! It's like a week you are on my mind...Here all is well and you? I "think" we took care of the Christmas gift part... at least States side, I'm getting ready to wrap everything up and ship it tomorrow morning. On this side of the world though I haven't got the last couple of things but I have to wait to get in Italy first. We are planning on spending a week there with my parents and come back here for New Year's Eve so we can have a party here at the house with some friends.Thanksgiving weekend was awesome, no snow though:( But we did have a great time!I took a couple of pictures that I'm gonna post soon on fb...I'm glad you had the chance to spend time with your family:) I can't wait to see mine, it's been over six months since I last saw them.I just noticed that you wrote me like... three weeks ago *blushing*I'm so sorry I haven't replied! I honestly don't know where my head was.Bad Ingrid!Anyways...I got the books like last Thursday! I've been waiting forever.Megan's Mark was good, I liked it even thought it made me blush a couple of times:)With the books that I ordered there was book 1 of the series so I can start reading it from the beginning.I'm finishing reading the KC & GS's duo like right now... it's good and I loved Murdoch's story! And while in Garmisch I picked up SK "Born of Night" you said it rocked, I got curious, and you nailed it again *grinning*!Well, got to go pick up Asia at the bus stop! You have a great day too!Hug & Kisses,Ingrid
Hey!At the end I didn't get dressed up:( but we did have a blast specially the girls:) It was fun, cold but fun.We went on base like I was telling you and some of the houses were really spooky looking, specially one with huge spiders on the front *shivering* it was really scary!Oh, no! I'm sorry you had to work:( well, maybe next year!I know! We decided to spend Thanksgiving in Garmisch in the Bavaria region with some friends, we found this hotel on top of a mountain and the only way to reach it is by cable car. And there's absolutely nothing around, you are surrounded by mountains (I was thinking nice scenario for a horror movie;) The town it's right below so we can go out and about douring the day. I can't wait! I love the Bavaria region it's absolutely stunning during all the seasons. Have you ever seen the music video by George Michael "Last Christmas"? it looks just like that!Christmas we will be down in Italy visiting my family this year but we will be back in Germany for New Year's Eve.I know what you mean, I am too all ready fretting over what to get for everybody! In the States it's easy, I usually get gift cards for everybody and than they go get whatever they want but in Italy it's harder because they don't have a clue what a gift card is!!! I know.... that's Italy for you:)Another thing I usually do when I have to get something is google it; like I don't know, "gifts for a five year old" or something like that! It's helpful;)No I haven't read it yet:( see, the thing with living over sea is that we get everything you guys have but it takes forever to get here; they don't even have The Darkest Whisper yet and it's been out for a while:( Tonight finally Terrence will order those books though:))) he's finally back from all the TDYs and I'm sitting here waiting for him to come up in the studio so we can order:)))) I'm super happy *dancing the happy dance here*I'm currently reading "Megan's Mark" by Lora Leigh and I really like it, in fact I put all the Breed books on my wish list;)I have a couple at home and I'm pretty sure I'm going to devour them while I wait for my order to get here.Everything else here is fine:) it's not too cold yet and today I spent the day outside cleaning the yard (Terrence thought I hired somebody to do it *shaking my head*)And you? How's North Carolina?Hugggsssss & Kisses:)
Hey girl!Sorry I've been gone forever. Well, not really gone but very busy yes:)How are you doing? I'm getting the girls ready for the Halloween Party on base this evening, I'll post some pics on fb soon! What about you? Doing anything tonight? I love Halloween and I was thinking to get dressed up too this year, that will definatly freak my friends up;) Yeah, got to do it!What about you girl? Doing anything tonight?Have a great day and Happy Halloween;)***HUGGGGSSSSS***
Hey girl!Don't worry, I know you'll answer when you can;)You know, I was the same when I went to the library! Checking out books several times:) It's too funny!Tomorrow Terrence gets back and we aill order me some books:) I'm so happy!I was actually arguing with my "wish list" to see what I wanted next/first and after an hour of pondering I chose:-books number 3&4 of the dark Huntress Series by Jeaniene Frost, I loved the first two Cat kicks butt and Bones is super hot!-Than the last Argenau book, The Renegade Hunter by Linsay Sands-The Darkest Whisper by our girlfriend G. Showalter (I can't wait to read it!)-CF's book number 2 Dark Desire I'm trying to re-establish a reading order here!-Deep Kiss of Winter by our two fav gals, let me say it: FINALLY-Key of valor by N. Roberts book number 3-Visions of Heat by Nalini Singh (thank you for introducing me to this awesome series!)-Witch Blood by Anya Bast-Never Been Witched by Annette BlairI'm being greedy and I probably wont be able to order them all in once but it doesn't hurt to try;)The Key Trilogy talks about this three women that are chose to find three keys that will free the souls of three goddesses from a powerful sorcerer. Each has a full moon-cycle to complete her task and find the key, if the first one succeed than it's up to the second one and than the third (three books) if one fail than no souls go free and they loose one year of their lives but if they all succeed than they get one milion $ each. It's a nice trilogy, I finished a couple days ago book 2, Key of Knowledge and I can't wait to see how it ends on book3!No, I didn't get yet the Born of night book yet, is it good? I'm currently reading SK & DL's Whispered Lies from the BAD series and it's good; I'm trying to make it last a little because even thought I have some books I haven't read yet at the house there's nothing really that I want to read yet... Well, maybe JAK White Lies, have you read it? If so did you like it?Should I give it a go?I just LOVE when TBR are scary, it makes me giddy:)The weather here it's ugly, more reasons to stay at home and read;)We went from t-shirt weather last week to "one sweater is not enough" for the past four days! I actually had to turn the heaters on full time! Yesterday morning it was 34F and windy. And today it started raining:(Terrence has been in Garmisch, Bavaria for the past week and it was snowing there, he said yesterday morning there was a foot of snow and it's only middle October!I guess we can go skiing early this year;)You have a great day too girl and take care!Hugs Ingrid:)
Hey girl:)I know something about birthday party:) I just had Nicole on saturday, but after Asia's last year I promised myself not to have another kids b-day party at the house if I can avoid it! Let me tell you, kids go nuts when it's not their house!!!So we went to this indoor playground (they are everywhere here in Germany) and the kids had a blast while the adults enjoyed themselves at the table;)Since I'm short on books I'm re-reading the Dark Hunters series, which is good because like you said with all the new people popping up I needed to re-acquaint my self with the characters... I was getting a little confuse:)I LOVE her BAD series, I don't have her last one but I was hoping to be able to pick it up this weekend when we go on base (if they haven't sold out yet). I like Retter too:) he's something! Yeah, I know what you mean, nut case over here *pointing at myself* my friend Cristina suggested for me to go to the library but I just don't want to read a book that I have to give back... it has to be mine.... all mine *evil laugh* (told you I'm a nut case;)) besides, knowing me, I go and buy the book even after I've read it, I might not even open it after I got it but I have to have it!I have to check out Shannon K. Butcher I haven't read anything of her so far but your suggestions are always great! As of right now I'm reading Nora Roberts "Key of light" which is the first book of her Key trilogy, so far it's good but I just started it.What about you? Anything good?
Hey to you too:)How are you doing? Here all is well, the girls are back in school so now I have a little more time for myself:)How is everything going? I saw you've read BMR, did you like it?My tbr pile is crying, I'm in desperate need to get new books but it will have to be a while:(Meanwhile, I decided to re-read all the Dark Hunters, I was starting to get confused with all the characters:)And I picked up two books from the BAD series always by SK, it's not para but I still like it!The bookshelves on base are poor now days, they haven't restock yet so you have to make do with what you can find:)Maybe when Terrence gets back from Belgium I can convince him to order some new books at B )And you? Reading anything interesting lately? You have a great day too!
Hey there!Yes, we are enjoying ourselves:) Last Friday we went to the beach down at Camp LeJeune with the kids and my brother-in-law (he's in the Marines) and than the weekend we've been busy with the family.Today we went to Raleigh and than on Saturday we leave to go to Maggie Valley and the Cherokee until Tuesday and I'm ecxited because I've never been to the mountains here in NC so it's gonna be fun:)Can't wait to finally meet you on Thursday:)
Hi there! How are you doing? Here all is well, we've had a hell of a weekend:)Are you still up for this Thursday at the Starbucks inside B&N?Ingrid
Lol! That's the italian for you!!! Yes, I meant to say 4:00pm:)Yes, Cracker Barrel is good; last year when we came over for Christmas we went three times because Terrence loves their turkey pot pies and they were always out, he was so mad... anyways, the last time we went he was so upset because they still didn't have any that his mother went and asked the manager how was it possible that they were always out and so we found out that they served them only one day per week (wish we've known that!) and when the manager found out about the ordeal he invited Terrence to go eat for free the next time that they had them! It was very nice... unfotunately we were leaving in the next couple of days so we couldn't go:) Yes, it was very nice and I guess sometimes he does listen:)I'm reading it right now and I'm all ready in to it.I have to try her pirate trilogy, I love pirates stories! And with this I leave you... I have to go pack!We leave tomorrow morning around 7am and this time we have a cool flight, Frankfurt/Charlotte Charlotte/Jacksonville. Usually we have to take several airplanes.Talk to you soon!
If you like mexican you've got to try it! I can't wait, that and Cracker Barrel are my favourite places, I'm drooling just thinking about it!Let's do the 23rd than, is it ok around 16:00? Or whenever is best for you:)I've never read Jennifer Ashley, now you've made me curious, I have to go check her out.My man just picked up the last LS book I was missing, he found it in a PX like four hours from here! I guess I trained him good *giggling here*Yes, I agree with you CF is a good author but I couldn't read all her books one after the other, I think I will space it out with something else in between books; I have so many contemp I need to sink my eyes in to it at home it's unbelievable.
Yes, the mexican food was good! But than I love mexican food, when we are in NC I love going at "Mi Cabana" (I hope I spelled it right!) in Jacksonville I don't know if you ever been there, I always get their enchiladas suprime *sighing* it's gooood!!!What do you think about Friday the 24th? Maybe around 16:00?The first week I'm gonna be a little busy between family and check up appointments.Yes, LS is good, I love her sense of humor:)I finished last night "Vampires are forever", I really liked it and I just started "Vampires, Interrupted" and I all ready like it:)Twilight is very good, I'm usually not in to YA books but I really liked this one.I know what you mean, I'm the same way, sometimes you just need to read something different:)When the mood calls for it I like a good Dean Koontz or a contemporary romance, I used to love historicals but got tired of the "descriptions" parts. I was reading on LS's web site that she also writes historicals and wanted to give it a try and see how they are.So far I've read three of the Carpatian series and I really liked them, I have on my TBR pile "Murder Game" of the Ghost Walker series but haven't got to it yet, I was waiting to see if I can get the previous books so I can read them in order. And I want to read also the Drake series... There's so many good books it's hard to keep up!
I'm back!I really had a good time in Italy:)B&N and starbuck's sound very good indeed:DWhen would it be best for you?We will be busy the first weekend we are there (18th/19th of July) but besides that I'm pretty much available anytime.Speaking of reading, I have the last few pages left of "Vampires are forever" by Linsay Sands and than I'm gonna start "Vampire Interrupted" always by her. I have only one book of her series that I'm missing and was thinking about picking it up when we get to the States, here I'm just not able to find it:( and I have to have it, I love her books!!!And than I want to start getting all the Christine Feehan's Carpatians series and I just pre-ordered the last Sherrilyn Kenyon's book "Bad moon rising", can't wait for that one! What about you? Reading anything good?
