    Hi Doris H..yes one of my sisters thought breastfeeding was discusting..did I spell that correctly, somehow does not look correct andway I said to her "well better than giving my child milk from a dirty cow" that shut her up Doris. I am so happy you have joined woman speak, please feel free to start your own topic..any concerns you have etc. we welcom anything and its nice being an woman only group.     Better than Starbucks is one of the fastest growing literary/social groups on Shelfari, with good reason. the membership (not so much me, the founder) is literate and diverse, and by and large very intelligent. The name of the group comes from an argument that led to the founding.

    I love cooking as well. I love making my own pastries. Your friends are totally right by how easy it is to just buy some but it IS fun to cook and see your OWN product, eh? :)
    I've been told that Are you there Vodka?... is so hilarious, am I right? I think it's either on my shelfari wishlist or my amazon's.

    Oh by the way, I have started re-reading Harry Potter as well, the philosopher's stone. :P It's like I can't get enough of it... Once you start reading it, you don't want it to finish.

    Have you read The Pact by Jodi Picoult?

    What are you reading these days? I'm reading Love Story by Erich Segal. Never watched the movie so I'm really enjoying the book :) I actually saw the beginning of the movie when I was a kid and didn't like it. heh
