I'm a retired elementary school teacher, having taught 3rd, 4th, or 5th grades for a very long time! I have 3 adult children-- 2 daughters, 1 son, and 2 grandsons.

I like to say my tastes in reading are very eclectic and diverse. I try to stay open minded and touch all the genre bases.

    Hi Donna,
I'm so grateful that you use the 5 Star rating system. I wish every one did. I pretty much judge what books I wish to read next according to authors I've previously given higher ratings to, as well as my friends rating systems. Not enough people use the rating system. I'm glad you take the time to use it. Just thought I'd let you know that! I've read books just because of yor high ratings! And THANKS . You ROCK

    Hi Donna Teach,

Was wondering ... how do you read books, pulp or digital, or both?

Hi, Donna. No, I haven't come across a list that's comprised only of children's books. That would be fun! This is the only literature-related site I use. I post all adult, teen, and juvenile titles I read, and include new favorites among picture books.

I'll definitely check out your shelf. Even though I'm in IT now, I work with a lot of elementary school children and our district's literacy specialist.

Hi new friend! Wow! What a small world! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to shop in Grand Coteau! I'm about 45 minutes away from there. They have the most quaint little shops! Also rich in history! Gotta love it!
    Well, you keep in touch!
