Good to meet you on Shelfari, Dona.
ChildrenMothers, touch your children,Fathers, hug them tight,Let them know you love themmorning, noon, and night.Put your arms around them, hold them near to you,Feel the beating of their hearts, the life that you made new.Roll around the floor with them, tease and laugh and play,Listen to what they'll tell you, they have so much to say.Take time to get to know them, see the colors in their eyes,Appreciate that personthat deep inside them lies.Let them run their fingers through your hairand down your face,Fill their hearts with words of praise, make home their favorite place.Cuddle with them on the couchand watch a t.v. show,Sing with them or share a bookand help their world to grow.Take a walk into the park, hold each other's hand,Smell the flowers, feed the ducks, build castles in the sand.Mothers, touch your children,Fathers, hug them tight,Show them what a gift they are,to love them feels so right.(by Kathie Davis)
Hi, Donna,So kind of your to offer a review, thank you. "Fantasy and Faith" sounds like a perfect fit. July, however, feels a long way off, doesn't it?Here's to summer!Glenn

Love has the power to bring you bliss by positively transforming your reactions to the challenges in your life. The Roman poet Virgil said that love conquers all. When you use love to meet a challenge or overcome an obstacle, you embrace bliss. What do we normally use to overcome obstacles? Fear, anger, uncertainty, envy, or jealousy. Think of how many times you've been motivated by jealousy. What if, instead, you simply had love? Do you know what love can do to a problem? It transforms your reaction to it. Love guides you to reframe events and give the benefit of the doubt to yourself and others. - From "Living in the Moment" by Gary Null
Dona, if you enjoy reading epics then I think you would love "Pillars of the Sky" by Ken Follett. This is an amazing generational historical novel that has achieved the status of being the best selling fictional story ever written. It's fantastic! READ ON...
Dona hi, I've come across a story that is so exeptional I had to write you about it. It's titled "Nathan's Run" by John Gilstrap and I think you will find it as moving and inspiring as I did. While a fictional account it is an emotional coming-of-age journey that will pull at your heartstrings and give you pause to think about the power of the human spirit. Enjoy and READ ON...
Dona, thank you for the friending. I'm looking forward to reading your comments about the books you've read or will be reading as well as your recommendations for books you think I might enjoy......
Dona, I have not read "The Wheel of Time" but am hearing a lot about it. As soon as I get through a few more books on my "plan to read" list I will definitely look into it though. I guess I should have taken a speed reading course when I was younger because there are so many books I want to read :). Fortunately, I am able to read faster on my Kindle, unless it's just my imagination, so I'm reading more books in a shorter time. So many books to read, so little time...READ ON...
Dona, thanks for your reply and the review. In the interim I read "Name of the Wind" and I must tell you I absolutely fell in love with it. I can't wait until the sequel is made available in the Kindle format so I can read it. I am just finishing "The Night Angel Trilogy" by Brent Weeks and I am already having withdrawal pains because it's coming to an end. I think both of the debut Trilogy's by these very gifted authors rank with Robin Hobb's "Farseer Trilogy" and George R.R. Martin's series "A Song of Ice and Fire." Merry Christmas to you and yours and READ ON...
LOL Sorry Donna, that message was for you. Perhaps I should go to bed now. Anyway, I was directed to your page here when I added "Eternity Falls" to my 'want to read' list. It's nice to see other people are into spec. Christian fiction. I don't feel quite so out in the dark all by myself!
