    Ms. Cartwright (My momma will not let me address you as Joan)

    Would you be interested in a Twitter bookclub for Kola Boof's Long Train to the Redeeming Sin?

    I'm currently in a Twitclub for Orange Mint and Honey by Carleen Brice whose also on Twitter. Our discussion leader posts 2-3 questions a day for 1 chapter a day (Mon-Fri). We keep track of the questions and answers via a hashtag. Several times, Carleen Brice the author joins in the discussion!!! It's fun and frankly way more engaging than Shelfari!

    We just started Orange Mint so I estimate we'll begin Long Train by November. I'm sure she'll join in! Kola Boof is also on Twitter so I thought it would be great to choose Long Train for our next selection. I'm sure she'll join in!

    If you're like me and don't stick around Shelfair because it isn't interactive, then join us on Twitter.

    @vizionheiry (My Twitter username)

    P.S. I can't believe you're on Shelfari!

    As one of my Shelfari friends, I would like to invite you to be among the first readers to review my new book "Moments of Forever: Discovering the True Power and Importance of Your Life" (a registered Shelfari title). It is a practical study in metaphysics that will help you find greater meaning in your life. It has been available for just a few weeks but it has already gained much acclaim within the large iUniverse publishing house—receiving the “Editor’s Choice” award and being honored as a “Rising Star” title. “Moments of Forever” is a book that will benefit and enrich the lives of people for many years to come. Please help me launch this very special book with your personal Shelfari review.

    Thank you!

    Dear Diva: I am an author from Massachusetts. After years of rejection slips, I had my debut novel HUNTING THE KING published last year. The publication of a novel by a small independent press requires a lot of independent promotion, too. As part of that promotion I try reaching out to people who might have an interest in HUNTING, which is a page-turning thriller. The main character is Molly O’Dwyer. When Molly was five years old, she witnessed her mother die in a fire that Molly believes she set. After her mother’s death, she is raised on the campus of a Jesuit college. Thirty years later, she is an archaeologist recruited to join an expedition into war torn Iraq. What lies buried beneath the sands of ancient Babylon that would have an international team of scientists anxious to risk their lives? A passionate scientist herself, a seeker of truth, Molly can’t resist the call. Yet, still a loyal Catholic, she can’t help but fear the consequences of this momentous dig. ForeWord Magazine said, ‘Given such an auspicious debut, the sequel can’t come soon enough.’ If you have the time, check out the explosive YouTube book trailer for HUNTING THE KING. Please let me know if you have an interest. Thank you.

    Hi Joan, how'd your NY gig go??
    One day we'll meet!
    In the interim, uni studies are going great. The campus is really beautiful, so it's not hard to go there and do work...if you know what I mean!
    Sorry I haven't got a cam to upload any songs yet. All in good time. Thanks for intro'ing me to shelfari. I like it - just don't have enough time on m' hands at the mo' to read what I'd like....as opposed to what I have to (for studies). But I'm interested in all that, so no probs!
    Happy travels and sweet singing, cheers, Heather
    p.s. - Ray Charles is playing for me right now....well, in 'digital' person!
