Hello! I have lived in Indianapolis for the last 20 years, and grew up in the D.C. area. I'm an eclectic (and greedy) reader...something will pique my interest and I'll suck up everything I can find on the topic or by that author. I just discovered that I'm a glommer! I got over being embarrassed by the enormous number of books waiting for me on the library hold shelf, though I do get impatient for the new releases and will buy them if I can. Having just discovered ebooks, glomming is a little bit easier, though I am frustrated by the number of books that aren't published in electronic format (or that are published only for Sony or Kindle).

I only recently found that I love romances...or that many of the books I enjoy are considered romances. Paranormals and dark fantasy make my toes curl...though I have found some contemporary romances that I've enjoyed a great deal. I'm pretty blissed out right now...all these new-to-me authors, so many with terrific backlists!

Let's see...what else about me? I'm a medical transcriptionist by profession, having worn many hats in that field. My partner of 13 years has been having great fun ribbing me about my turning 50 (not my most-enjoyed birthday). Her day is coming, though...she turns 40 this year. Enough about me...I have books waiting to be read! « less
