    I did see the very last bit of Catch last night (I went to see The Dark Knight and missed the beginning of Catch) The end was sad. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it in a couple of weeks because of work but I am waiting for a weekend marathon so I can catch up!

    Shark Week starts Sunday though which I probably love more than Catch! lol

    Hmm....I probably will have to so no to the chain letter. It sounds like fun and I do love free books but I am really bad at following through with things like that! Thank you for asking me in advance though.

    How is your work going? Are you slowing down yet so you can fit in a little reading?!

    If it's on her plans to read, I think that means that she already has it. She doesn't do a wish list at all they're either I've read or Plan to read. I just thought ya'll could get some sort of sense of the kinds of things she reads if you were interested. She really reads a lot of stuff.

    Also, I told Denise, but the only group that I posted this with was the Chiller group and the paranormal mystery group so I'm sure if ya'll need people, you could probably find some in other groups.

    And if I would have paid attention to your little description that says you don't like sci-fi, fantasy, or romance I DEFINITELY wouldn't have recommended Twilight which firmly falls in all three of those categories! lol that will teach me to pay attention...

    I JUST noticed that you asked for opinions on Twilight about 2 days ago. I finished writing a recommendation for you to read it then read your TITTM log and saw that you were definitely NOT a fan! Sorry! I wasn't getting e-mails from Shelfari for a couple of days and I never pay attention to those little messages on the right side of the screen when you sign in...

    Well, at least you now know that you will not be reading any Stephenie Meyer books in the future ;) What are you on to next?

    American history bores me to death, ha. I can't help it. I originally got into mythology, particularly Greek, Norse, Roman, and Incan, and that led me into those cultures' histories. I find bits like the fall of the Roman empire and Mesopotamian development fascinating. Incan and Aztec calendar systems and predictions really spark my interest, as well. My local college doesn't offer much past a general 'World History' and 'American History' course, so I browse through that on my own time. And because of history, I am into humanities as well.

    My Frankie just turned four, too. I wish I had had him as a puppy, because he would have been adorable, but all of my dogs were adult strays by the time I came across them :( I've never had a puppy before.

    yuck on sci-fi my assigned starting point was satire, then it went to school, then quite a few variations of sci-fi I just couldnt do it.
