I couldn't respond on whether or not you should read Evil at Heart. I haven't read it yet, but it is on my wishlist.

I personally have over 375,000 books. And over 350,000 CD'S. Yes....you heard me correctly. But if there is anything that you would like to know about....just ask me. I see if I can get you some info on it. But as for not striking out. Here are a couple of books to give thought to reading.

1.) "The Giver", by Lois Lowery

2.) "In A Pit With A Lion On A Snowy Day" Mark Batterson

3.) "The Missing" by Tim BeauTreaux

Check these books out....and tell me what you think. Hey....send me an address in my Private Mesage: And I'll send you the books in question....you'll have them by tomorrow.

    JASS!

According to your rating I would give Shadow 4 stars. I recommend it. Parts of it are "unputdownable" it does drag in a couple of places. All in all, it is a good read.

Hi. I read the entire "The Shadow of the Wind" and for me it was worth the read. I remember that I had to push through some sections, but it is set in a time period for which I have an interest, and the story picked up again.

I got your message about whether or not to continue with The Shadow of the Wind. I haven't actually read it yet, so I can't answer. Good luck finishing it! I hope it turns out to be worth it.

Yes, this is an incredible story. So much that I did not know about that time. Toni Morrison won the Noble Prize in Literature for this novel.
