    I still sometimes pick up MacDonald's The Princess & the Goblin or At the Back of North Wind. Love 'em. Tim & I were just talking about L'Engle's trilogy the other day, too... I can't decide which one's my favorite. :)

    Wow, you're everywhere! :)
    So... I'm interested in which essays strike you as particularly wonderful from the two anthologies you have listed--Modern American Memoirs and The Art of the Personal Essay. I know there were some in MAM that I really, really loved, but of course I don't remember them at the moment since I'm at work...
