I look Asian, but I'm not. Neither is my last name. When I speak, you won't hear an Asian accent. I can't speak any Asian languages. All I have in common with Asians living in Germany is my dark skin, almond-shaped eyes and petite frame.

It's funny... When I just saw your message back to me "Diana" popped out first! Maybe because I was welcoming you to the Canada group, I had it on my mind, so that's whey "adiana" stuck out instead.

No worries about the time it took you to answer back. I do hope you'll participate in the group a bit as well, though. The group is sometimes pretty slow, but every so often someone will come and post a bunch of stuff to liven it up for a bit! Avidreader and I try to add new topics on occasion, too, to see if we can get a bit more traffic on the group.

Do you read much Canadian lit? I should look closer at your shelf... :-)

Hi deunadiana! Just wanted to pop by to welcome you to the Canada group! I see you are in Germany, but have you lived in Canada before? Just curious about your connection... Also, the "adiana" in your name has me wondering...

There is a Welcome and Introductions thread in the group if you would like to pop over there and introduce yourself. We are also planning to start a group read if you are interested. We have the book chosen, but discussion isn't planned to start till March 1, to give everyone who is interested a chance to get their hands on the book and of course, to read it! Come take a look and see if you are interested. Of course, please feel free to post to any of the thread and join in to any discussions you'd like to. Once again, welcome to the group!
