“I can agree with what some other reviewers have said, about the action taking place in the middle of the book, etc. I still enjoyed the book, and I am liking that more characters are being added (Ameila, Octavia). I am so torn about who I would want Sookie to be with, a big part of me roots for Eric, however I also really like Sam. In either case, I felt that this book was a little less like the others, but in a good way. While there was the normal fighting and such, it seemed as if groundwork for the new characters were being built to be able to have them in further novels. I think the introspection Sookie seemed to be putting herself through was good as well, so much action has gone on and little reference to her inner turmoil really was written. I just cannot wait for the next one to come out.”
