As my name indicates, I love books. I could, and have, spend hours in book stores, or the library. I like a wide range of books, anything from contemporary fiction, to non-fiction books about feminism or psychology.

Perhaps it is a throwback to my time in high school, but as soon as summer hits I want to read and re-read the classics.

I can agree with what some other reviewers have said, about the action taking place in the middle of the book, etc. I still enjoyed the book, and I am liking that more characters are being added (Ameila, Octavia). I am so torn about who I would want Sookie to be with, a big part of me roots for Eric, however I also really like Sam. In either case, I felt that this book was a little less like the others, but in a good way. While there was the normal fighting and such, it seemed as if groundwork for the new characters were being built to be able to have them in further novels. I think the introspection Sookie seemed to be putting herself through was good as well, so much action has gone on and little reference to her inner turmoil really was written. I just cannot wait for the next one to come out.

This was definitely my favorite out of all the Carole Matthews' books I have read. It actually made me think about our culture, and consumerism and the like. In any case it made me feel like jumping on a plane and having an adventure!

I actually liked this book far more than her Shopaholic series. While I enjoy the series, I tend to almost cringe and at times just feel sorry for the main character. I couldn't put this book down, I read it in a night. I found it fascinating the character's path to seeing why she became the person she supposedly was prior to her amnesia. Left me feeling quite happy for the character.

This book was actually based in the high school I went to. I found this out after reading Peyton Place, which is based on the town next to mine, so I read it right afterwards. Oh the stories that come out of little NH.
