I've added you as a friend and look forward to sharing the journey through bookland with you. I did notice we share many books on our shelves and our similar tastes should enlighten both of us to authors and books.

Vampires, Witches & Were’s all that
would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    As always happy reading..
Show me the books he loves and I shall know the man
far better than through mortal friends.

My book is full of scenarios illustrating war in central asia. starting from Soviety Union invasion into afghanistan to their defeat by afghan mujahideens (volunteer fighters) followed by civil war and than emergence of taliban (religious school students) and after 9/11 USA attack to which taliban resisted and than disapperaed mysteriously and after 7 years they are emerging again as a force with 2 helicopters gunnedv down in 1 month alone.

Ms. Frost has agreed to visit our group for the day (AWESOME!) to talk to us about her book! While we read, lets take notes so we'll be ready for our one on one with this popular author! As a group we have to vote on when the best time would be for her to spend the day with us. Please vote and make Jeaniene Frost feel welcome! Thanks!! ~.^

    Hi,
J.D. Robb is another name of Nora Roberts. Her In Death series are detectives, playing in New York in 2058. With a real Kick A## Detective Eve Dallas, and her hubbie Roarke. A lot of technology which I sure hope to see if I get to that age. She solves murders, and every book the story about her private life and her friends continues. I really do love them.

More exciting news at the Suspense & Thrillers Group…as you might already know that Keith Katsikas, author of “2060: The Newton Prophecies” will be leading a discussion on his book. We don’t have a date set up yet, but will in a couple of weeks.

In the meantime, Amanda Stevens, author of THE DOLLMAKER, has also agreed to lead the discussion for May’s Group Read, which is THE DOLLMAKER. I’m really excited as this is something new and might become a new trend with our group discussions. If you’ve already read the book, come join us. If not, see if you can grab a copy. There’s still time as the discussion won’t begin until the first week of May.

Dear demented: If you enjoy a good thrill ride when you read, pleae be on the lookout for my new novel, HUNTING THE KING, coming this April.
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O’Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: “Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can’t come too soon.”

To get a good sense of how powerful the book is, check out the heartpounding booktrailer on YouTube or on my web site at www.peterclenott.com. It is like watching a preview for an exciting movie. The novel is equally exciting, and I hope you will look for it. While it isn’t out until April, you can find it on Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Kunati Books. I hope you’ll take a look. And let me know what you think. Your response tells me if I am reaching the right readers. Thanks. Peter.
