    Hi!
Well time flys, I've only been browsing back on shelfari the past week. Going full time with the job then my dad was found to have and 8 cm (yep 8 cm) aortic abdominal aneurysm, he had an endovascular repair with every complication you can imagine but doing well know. So i know I carried a book with me everywhere I went I'm just not sure what the heck it was. However I just recently discovered Jodi Picoult. I read The Pact and Keeping Faith and really enjoyed them! How about you all is well I hope? Pass along anything you've really enjoyed and I look froward to hearing from you!

Thanks for accepting my offer of friendship. You and I seem to have similar tastes in books. I've written a book series you might enjoy. "How Do You Know He’s Real: Celebrity Reflections on True Life Experiences with God" contains 34 real-life stories by celebrities who know God is real because of their personal relationships with Him.

"How Do You Know He’s Real: God Unplugged," the second book in the series is a collection of profound real-life journeys and dramatic encounters with the living God by young athletes and musicians. Being famous doesn’t make their lives perfect; these celebrities still struggle with the same issues that most young people deal with... insecurity, anger, peer pressure, addiction and self-esteem.

You can read excerpts and see the lisdt of participants on my website, www.amyhagberg.com.

Looking forward to getting to know you!

    Hey Dee,

Hi It's been so long since I've even browsed this site. So nice to hear from you. We have had quite a bit of stormy weather this past week, good for my plants. Well the Urgent Care did not open as planned due to some technical problems, like someone forgot to request a Certificate of Need from the sate. So we are on hold right now, I'm working 32 hours in the ED, very, very busy but I like it and then I'm doing 8 hours for Londonderry stuff! How's everything going with you? Any summer plans? I haven't read much, I've been muddling through one of Tess Gerritsons books, it is good I just usually fall asleep about the second page! Have you read any of her stuff? Oprah's new book club book sounds interesting. Again great hearing from you! Missy

    Hi!

I'm planning to pursue a master's in anesthesia in the next few years, and hopefully make it out to the Nashville area to settle down (my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew live in Nashville and my parents and youngest brother live in Huntsville, AL...I can't wait to be closer to them!)

I was stationed in Tampa, FL for quite a while so we visited a lot of the beaches on the west coast of FL, and I was stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for awhile too...the beaches there are amazing!

You'll be fine with ACLS, will you have an oppurtunity to use it frequently in your job? We use it alot in the ED. I'm still struggling along with Trouble, it's good I just dont have enough time, especially now that the weather has been so nice lots to do outside! Nice to hear from you. Missy

Hi Dee, It sounds beautiful there. We just got another two inches of snow, crazy New England weather. I am an ED nurse that is venturing into a new project in the area. The hospital I am working for is opening an Urgent Care Center and I am the Clinical Leader. Lots to do and think about in the planning phase but I am enjoying it. Michael is my oldest and my most challenging at 12, Tommy is 9, Matthew is 5 and Ryan is 15 months. Very busy but we love it! Are you reading anything fantastic right now? Nice to hear from you.

Good Morning.. I just wanted to wish you a wonderful weekend and to let you know that in the morning I'll be leaving for Ireland. I'll only be there for a few days, but I didn't want you possibly writing me a note and then wondering why I wasn't getting back to right away. I hope you are enjoying a fantastic book. I love it when spring arrives. My favorite place to read is at Harlow Gardens here in my town of Harrogate. I have a special reading tree that I lay under and disappear into the magic of the story to the sound of the wind blowing through the branches of the tree above my head. It is something I have to wait for.. the weather must get a bit warmer before I can do that. The flowers are popping up everywhere though now.. so I am beginning to get excited.

Hi Dee, Nice to hear from you. Haven't had too much bird activity yet. We had a beautiful pair of cardinals visiting for awhile but they seem to have gone elsewhere. I have the childrens books because I have four boys and those are some of our favorites. Trixie Belden and the Little House books started my journey with the love of books. I haven't been reading too much because I just started back to work full time, I take a shuttle so I get a few pages in in the morning and on the way home. I've been too tired at night, just read the same page over and over!! Keep me in the know of what you are enjoying. Hope our foot of snow melts soon so we can see the flowers come up.

Thanks for the note, I too love dogs much, it's great that you have a rescue dog. I used to volunteer at an animal shelter on Staurday's, and loved it. As sson as I finish school I plan to volunteer again, and read some of the books you have on your shelf. You have many books I've wanted to read.

Hi Great to hear from a fellow nurse and birder. I'm looking forward to the spring because we get a lot of bird activity in our yard here in New Hampshire. Although spring looks far away as I look out my window and see ten inches of snow. My husband thinks its a great day for sledding (groan) I think it is a great day for reading. You take the kids sledding I'll stay home and read.... nice fantasy, won't happen. I think I'm using the site wrong, I have all the books I want to read on my reading list and I'm starting to gather that it is supposed to be what I am currently reading. The book I am reading now is Midwives and it is very good. Iove medical books. I took a quick look at your shelf and it looks like I would enjoy many of those. So much to read and so little time. It was great hearing from you , look forward to hearing from you again.
