    Dee,
Hope all is well, just finished Stephen Kings new marathon novel a few days ago, UNDER THE DOME was over one thousand pages of some of the most intense, emotionally draining, mind blowing writing since I read THE STAND, oh did I mention I liked it as well....
I would recommend this book to anyone who has some time to ingest what the story is really all about, I heard the message loud and clear, what a statement he makes with this one !
    Take care for now,
    Robert

Wow! Thanks for the warning. I'll steer clear of that one. I heard of a new one the kids really like called, "The Heart of a Champion". It looks good. Check it out!

There is a 2nd book to "The Guy I'm Not Dating". It's on my "Plan to Read" shelf. It sounds as wonderful as the first one! I am lending that book to kids that haven't touched a book in 3 years, and they love it!

Very cool! Thank you for the suggestion! I am reading Hunger Games! It's the beginning of a trilogy by Suzanne Collins. It is AWESOME, and it's really getting popular fast! It's good for boys and girls alike!

Well, I tried Kathy Reichs and couldn't get past the first chapter. As I mentioned before it seems a number of her books focus on the murder of young children and that is too uncomfortable for me to read. Also, Temperance is nothing like the TV character, which you mentioned earlier. Most notably in the first chapter of Bones to Ashes I learned that Temperance attended Catholic school. Guess I'll just have to stick to ogling Agent Seeley Booth on TV! :P

I do alot of trading in on paperbacks at a local book dealer, but I make it a point to keep certain authors, but they must be absolute page turners to keep, I'm running out of room.
might have to invest in a kindle, but there is something about the smell and fell of a good book that I'm not sure I can... LOL

Thank you for the suggestion! I am reading Story of a Girl right now! I like it, but it's pretty racey! Love your book knowledge...so glad we're friends! My recent fav is "The Guy I'm not Dating." It is a Christian story of a girl who vows not to date until God directs her otherwise. She meets this cute boy and has to stay true to her heart, even though she's very attracted to him. He likes her more for her decision...no sex, nothing distasteful, and it's hilarious! Young girls LOVE it!

I've read all of the Amelia Peabody out of sequence... I think I read the 17th one first .. it was in the featured section of our library and that was that :) I have read almost all of her books ... both EP and BM ones ... I have put a hold on her really old ones for a while now .. looks like a few of them are out of print ... I would love to go over Amelia series again ... maybe do it in the right order this time :)
