    Glad you're on my friends list. I have been trying to get published for years now, with no success. Sometimes I get my foot so close to the door, then. . .it slams shut. Very discouraging. I keep thinking that if I had written what I have these days and sent them off 15 or 20 years ago, I might be a published author by now. Guess it just took me awhile to get going--but now it seems it's even harder to get that foot near the door. Most editors or agents don't even tell you why they won't read the rest of your story; they just reject it.
    So, I've been working on another story--slowly but surely. Tell you about that later.
