Well you know Kathy, and I'm sort of a titular NYer. I enjoy teaching the grad students and can tolerate the undergrads, but in the past week I've had to read one mss. about paternal sexual molestation and another about paternal suicide, both of them bad, and the one talented writer in my grad workshop could only turn in her piece at the last minute because of medical problems. I don't much like Wilmington, except for the beaches. I'm on my way up to New York for a panel tomorrow and am almost hysterical with gratitude. The library must be wonderful. What are you working on-- or do you talk about that?
