Hello, David, I read your review of Burroughs' "Queer" and was writing to ask if you would review my book, "Lust=Death, Kiddies!" for Amazon.com and Shelfari. If so, send a mailing address to swimrdie@gmail.com, and I will ship a free paperback copy in the coming days. Thanks for your consideration, Clayton.
Hi David! I have to say your dedication to reviewing has made my day! And I'm pleased to see that we have similar opinions of our 70 common books! Interested to hear what you're currently reading.
All the best,
Rebecca
Great, David. Looking forward to hearing from you. It might take me a few days to reply-- my daughter will be married this weekend so there is quite a lot of activity here! Regards,
Craig
Hi David,
We have 122 books in common, which seems like a lot to me! I appreciate your taking the time to review books. Looking forward to reading more of your reviews.
Best regards,
Craig
Hello
Oh, it is so COLD outside today. Freezing!
DRACULA: Hearts of Stone This MIGHT be a little like Dracula if written by J. K. Rowling. It’s a place where magic and vampires interweave for an exciting adventure. Dracula: HEARTS OF STONE
A tale of magic, romance and fangs.
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a new novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.
OR
"Madman in the Mirror" is a story about a man - Henry Johnson - who is raised by a psychopath and forced to watch - even as a baby - his father murder people on a regular basis. He is also abused and brainwashed, turning him into a sociopath. Henry stalks and murders people efficiently - he tells himself that he may be a killer, but he doesn't want people to suffer. He is haunted by hallucinations, including a specter in his mirror that talks to him.
“A.J. is a master at creating word images that remain with the reader long after the book is finished.” Richard S. Friedman

I would like to suggest reading THE ENDLESS HOUR- The True Story of a Haunted Soul.I completed publication
in November 2010.
Over eighteen years in the making,THE ENDLESS HOUR is about an illustration I created in 1988 that became
reality two years later, which involves a spiritual death experience.
This touching and terrifying true story is not only about me.It is also about... you.
For more information go to theendlesshour.com. Once you enter the website you can watch the book video and
read reviews. You may also want to visit amazon.com and read the first seven chapters of THE ENDLESS HOUR.
Thanks,
Jesse
partly yeah... I don't like Floripa, to be honest. anyway, what have you been doing there? And cool you'd been in Thailand, do you speak a little of thai?
I used to live in Floripa. I'd moved to here about 2 years (Campinas, SP)
I guess that we are one of three who have written a reaction to Alan Watts'
Cloud Hidden, Whereabouts unknown. He was a great influence on my life; with his help in portraying the Buddhist life.
A few of us still remember.
Thanks for the add and I'll hope that you've received my message.
Purring greetings Marguerite
hahaha sure sure! which are the books you really want to read in my shelf?
/hey, that's cool. nice to meet you . I'm new here either, i've moved to campinas 2 years ago... I'm from Rio

Welcome to 1001 books. You can keep track of the books you have read from the book, 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die, join in the discussions on the books we are reading for the month (BOTM) or you can debate the merits of the list as some enjoy doing. We hope you will want to join in the choosing of BOTM and the discussions. The current books are pinned to the top for that month. There are older discussions that can be found by searching discussions. If there is any way the group administrator can help further feel free to ask one of us. If you don’t own the book the list can be found at the top in the group description or at http://www.listology.com/content_show.cfm?content_id=22845. A downloadable list of the second edition is available at http://johnandsheena.co.uk/books/?page_id=160.
We miss you in the group Mentoring Men. Please stop by.
