Hello DBibliophile, I read Shelfari has you as a member with Frank Peretti’s “This Present Darkness” and would like to recommend another Christian Thriller, "The Diaries of Pontius Pilate.” It draws upon the author’s military background and has great reviews. “Diaries” is not a vanity or self-pub book, but is published by Trestle Press, a small independent press outside of Philadelphia under its imprint, My Helping Hands Press, that gave a Christian novel a chance. Full disclosure - I wrote it and hope you’ll give it a chance - on Kindle, Paperback, Nook or Kobo.
Best wishes, Joe Lewis www.josephmaxlewis.com
Hey, just browsing and I saw your bookshelf. Odd Thomas is a great book. Koontz is one of my faves and a super-cool guy as well. I actually dedicated a book of mine called RUN to him because he's been such a great guy over the years (he's friends with my dad, so I get to call him once in a while and gush about him). Anywho, cool shelf; thanks for letting me browse!
Been meaning to read Hitchhiker's guide for a very long time! I know so many funny parts already just from others talking about it :) It's just begun to get cold here now, 13-21 celcius hehe, it's cold for us Queenslanders! What's the City of Ashes like? It's got great reviews!
Hi Diane! I'd love to visit Canada one day. All the Canadians I know are such lovely, friendly people. I'd recommend Cordelia's Honor http://www.shelfari.com/books/7506933/Cordelias-Honor - it's a sci-fi drama, mixed with action and romance and great characters. I loved it. Do you have any recommendations?
