“I liked this book and enjoyed reading it for the most part. They weren't always the nicest to their animals, but I guess that's all part of the story, too. I kept wondering if the dysfunctional family relationships would ever get any better. That suspense made it hard to put the book down.

It is the next book for our book discussion group and I'm looking forward to hearing other people's thoughts.”
