Rice's return to the faith is great. But I'm sure I'm not the only one that felt betrayed by her moving away from her genre. We loved her for the books she wrote in the past. I loved the Vampire series, The Mayfair Witches and of course, A Cry to Heaven and Feast of all Saints. I'm actually watching Feast of All Saints tonight.

As great a writer that Rice is, I'm just not interested in her Christ the Lord series and do hope that her Angel Time is more like her old characters, since I'm not a fan of christian fiction. I think she knows how her fans feel about her abandoning her previous works- hence Angel Time. I'll just have to give this one a try and hope for the best.

    Michael Collier…

You left me here without a father figure.

Who would have known you’d go before I got bigger?

Birthdays, holidays, and seasons have gone.

Did God take you intentionally to see me do wrong?

Memories of you in my mind aren’t close to visual.

It’s like I knew you, but lost you when it all got critical.

A black child with no father—it’s typical.

In your case, to me, it’s sort of pitiful,

but I forgive you for losing direction.

Wish I was old enough to tell you sex is a weapon,

but I couldn’t, and now it’s too late,

so I’ll see you when I get there and greet you at heaven’s

gate!(Wrap it up) R.I.P Michael Collier.

I totally get what you mean. My "I plan to read" section is all the books I own, but haven't gotten to yet. My wish list also keeps growing.

If you hadn't posted "Angel Time", I wouldn't have even checked it out. I was very disappointed with Rice and her new genre (christian fiction). However, in checking this book out, I read it's review and it says Rice is re-visiting her Vampires!!!! The twist is that her characters are looking for redemption. I just hope she doesn't take away from the old stories.

Yes I noticed you're about Terry Goodkind lately. LOL

Hola! Yes- it was a while. I'm reading the Family Dracul now, book 2. But I've read disappointing reviews. I still gotta read it though. Also, I've finally had a chance to add books I've previously read.

Wow!! Cool shirt! hehehe... (^_^) well, within the "men of twilight," I prefer Carlisle or Jasper... They maybe quiet but they not as aggressive as Edward and Jacob, I think... (^_^) and their love for Esme and Alice is so peaceful, sweet and powerful... No words at all, just actions...

    Wahahaha!! Haba ng hair!!

My goodness!! I've read the third book and I'm nearly disappointed with Bella kissing Jacob... (@_@) well, I'm relieved when she chose Edward, at least they're getting married... (^_^) and Alice is very sweet, she's a really nice sister for Bella..

I just love Anne Rice. It's too bad she's no longer writing these books. We've been abandoned. Oh well. Thanks for the request. Welcome friend. Quick questions: What is the New Worlds Alliance?

I agree and trylly adore Luther. The book was inspiring if not a bit simplicistic. I love each and every song of his and listen to his recordings whenever I need to get into myself.
I see you are a Rice fan, I was disappointed with her latest piece, it left me looking for a story. Okay I understand Jesus is a complicated soul to write about but come on.

It does look like we have several books in common. I see you have Wicca Covens by Judy Harrow. She is one of my favorite pagan authors.
