I'm a busy, working artist and musician, with a wide range of interests in books and not a whole lot of time for recreational reading. History, especially mediaeval, has a special fascination for me, particularly that of the early English Tudor period. Along similar lines, I have a passion for studying about and playing early music. I also have a theatre company, so you'll see a lot of books on that subject on my shelf. Between directing, acting, producing and writing, there's not a whole lot of time to sit down and pick up a book—which is precisely what I want to do most days! « less
