Frankly I think you should be writing your own great novel in comic form. I'm not sure what sort of writing you are looking for. My favorite "unknown" writer from the late 1800s is Pio Baroja. But he didn't write anything weird, or too weird. I mean, where is the next Lasky-master-work?
