Hi. I'm Darliza. I'm too cool to be a geek and too geeky to be cool. I love oatmeal cookies, cake and tea. These are all my books, you guys. For my lame book reviews/books read, refer to my ever-unupdated Goodreads account (goodreads.com/parentheticals). Hell yes.

I wasn't able to donate anything this year. Oh well. I can't believe anyone would give away "Aztec" (or "Raptor", for that matter)!!! But it's your gain, hehe. Good reading! :)

Eh; easy-to-read is not a recommendation, LOL. But yeah, the only works of his I'd like to read are "American Gods" and the whole "The Endless" shebang.

Hi, Dar; I see you've read Gaiman's "Smoke and Mirrors". What'd you think of it? I bought it in an attempt to see why so many people love his work, but--apart from one small pun which had me smile for 2 seconds--no luck so far. Did I just pick the wrong book, is he overrated, or is he better at graphic novels?

So I'm indirectly responsible for your conversion? Sweet! ;p

I guess you've already seen the photos JB put up of his shop. It seems to be coming along, although he did mention he doesn't think he can open this September yet.

I'm glad you joined Shelfari, Dar (or are we sticking to calling each other "Miss"? Hehe). This whole site makes me even more eager for JB to open his bookshop already. Magbuot-buot lagi gyud. ;P

And your profile is interesting... BTW, should you have time, I am also inviting you to browse thru my collection of Filipino poetry at http://allanandres.blogspot.com/.

I do originals, as well as translation and adaptation into Filipino of different works by different writers as Pablo Neruda, Edna St. Vincent Millay, Neil Gaiman, e.e. cummings, and many others. So there. I hope you can consider. Thanks again.
