I grew up in Sussex County (Waverly), VA and dreamed of studying to become an electrical engineer but later changed my mind and instead earned a b.s. and a masters degree in Business Administration.

Ten years ago, I wrote my first novel and has spent just as much time pursuing my dream of getting it published.

Currently I reside in Chester, VA with my husband Henry whom I will be celebrating 16 years of wedded bliss with this year. We have a 15 year old daughter named, ShaCoria DeNae and a 10 year old son, named Savion DeQuan. In addition to the kids we have a cute little Bichon-Maltese mixed dog named Shi.

In my spare time I like to read, write, bowl and watch movies. Where I Wanna Be is the first in a series of recent pursuits, with work progressing quickly on the follow up.
