This was a completely engrossing story of an alien takeover of earth's people, the pockets of resistance and what happens when the two cultures begin speaking to each other. This is Meyer's debut adult novel, and I predict it will win her legions of fans who aren't already in her corner with your YA "Twilight" vampire books. ”
