This is a good YA urban fantasy with a tough, quirky female protagonist and enough magick to keep a magick junkie like me interested. At times the plot line threatened to jump the shark, Charles DeLint kept things in line to my satisfaction. Recommended! Great book to read in a candlelit tub, or on park bench on a balmy summer's day.

This was a helluva romp through history and through the hearts and minds of two academics. I really enjoyed it.
