I was born and raised in small town in Florida. I've lived on a cattle ranch and in an orange grove that we've just recently turned part of into a hay field. I have a son that has an autistic spectrum disorder, so he's a little tough to handle at times, but I wouldn't change him. I also have four cats, a dog and a gecko (yes, my house is a... more »

This is a great book! Fred is a very determined, opinionated and cranky mermaid. The trouble starts when she meets a very great looking doctor at work and a mer-person that says she is his subject. Both men want the same things from her and she is dead set not to help. She just wants to be left alone and get her job done, but will that be possible? To find out you have to read the book. It's a great read and I laughed a lot while reading it. MaryJanice Davidson has created another great series and I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Patricia Briggs has created a great series. Mercy is not the typical woman in any respect. No offence, but how many female mechanics do you know? Patricia thinks outside the box and gives her character life by doing the unexpected. Mercy is her own woman and doesn't like being told what to do by anyone, encluding werewolves and vampires. I really liked this book. It had everything I was looking for and more.

MJD has done it again! This second installment of Queen Betsy is just as good as the first. Betsy is just as sassy as ever and her obsession with thoes shoes hasn't changed either. I recomend this book especially if you liked the first.

I bought this book for a story that one of my favorite authors wrote in it. While I have not read the rest of the stories in this book, I can say that Charlaine Harris' story Fairy Dust was great. It gives you a look at two of the characters in her Sookie Stackhouse series. Claudine and Claude are searching for answers to why their sister has died and they ask for help from Sookie. Does Sookie help find out what happend? Well, read the story to find out. I also recomend that you read the Sookie books (starting with Dead Until Dark) to find out more about Sookie and find out where Claudine and Claude come into her story. I'm sure you will enjoy them.

This is by far one of the most funny vamp books that I have ever read. Betsy is hilarious. She's sassy, classy and obsessed with designer shoes. She also makes sure everyone knows that she is her own woman, errr, vamp. I recomend this series to anyone that loves to laugh while they read because that is exactly what you will be doing.
