I was born and raised in small town in Florida. I've lived on a cattle ranch and in an orange grove that we've just recently turned part of into a hay field. I have a son that has an autistic spectrum disorder, so he's a little tough to handle at times, but I wouldn't change him. I also have three cats, a dog and a gecko (yes, my house is a... more »

This was a fantastic book. I loved it! Merit handled things perfectly in the wake of the distressing events. I'm not sure why other people gave the book not so good ratings, but I disagree whole heartedly. I don't think there could have been another way the story could have progressed. Kudos to Ms. Neill on a story well written. I can't wait for the next book in this series!

I really enjoyed Dead Reckoning. It was fairly fast paced and definitely action packed. I have to say that this book was ten times better than the last book. Sookie seems to be coming to terms with things in her life and starting to take control it. She's becoming more confident as well. I was glad to see that we were given more information on Sookie's fairy background and how she got her gift. I would like to say more on the story, but I'm too afraid to give more of it away. I will say that I now cannot wait for the next installment of this series.

I loved this book! I really felt for Grace and could empathize with her on quite a few things in her life. Julian is so gorgeous and a tortured soul in more ways than in just the physical sense. The angst between the main characters is wonderfully written and I was totally hooked on the story. When a book can keep me up way past the time I need to get to bed then you better believe it's a keeper. By the way, this book did keep me up and totally is a keeper!

Molly Harper has out done herself with this book! I became a fan of hers after reading Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs and I've not been disappointed. This new series has me begging for more! I'm on pins and needles waiting for the next book's release.

Mo is looking for her sense of self after living with some very extreme "hippie" parents, who seem to think that they need to know what she's doing twenty- four seven. Cooper is an alpha werewolf, who's on a self imposed exile from his pack. These two are hardly civil to each other when in the same room, so you know it's love at first fight. What ensued had me in hysterics and making my family look at me funny for it. I was on the edge of my seat as well and couldn't stop turning the pages until it was done.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who asks. It will leave you in stitches!

I finished reading this book yesterday and I have to say that it was awesome! Mrs. Briggs has done it again! I couldn't put the book down and when I had to I was wishing I had it back in my hands again. I don't think that I could put into proper words what this book was like to read for me. All I can say is that River Marked is one of the best Mercy stories yet and it won't disappoint!

This is a new venture for MaryJanice Davidson and I think she nailed it. I love Cadence and her sisters. They are a hoot! Each one comes to the others' rescue when the other needs it or just to get the job done. Her partner, at an offshoot department of the FBI, George is a true sociopath with a penchant for outlandish ties. They are trying to solve a case involving a serial killer they've dubbed the ThreeFer, that has recently moved into their area to start a killing spree. With all the excitement of the case happening Cadence and her sisters meet Patrick, the big brother of her best friend, who has a thing for them. From trying to solve the case to trying to date Patrick, this book is a fast paced romp of fun.

***POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT*** I've put this up just incase someone reads this that hasn't read the story. I didn't want to put too much about this in the review above because I know that people read reviews before reading the book, but this is a concern I had after reading something that has been bugging me ever since.

I have read some reviews that stated how difficult it was to go back and forth between sisters. I didn't find it too hard at all. Each sister's chapter starts with a different color and bold type-face for the first few words except for Adrienne's chapters and her's are really easy to tell. She's absolutely insane and it shows. Ms. Davidson was spot on with the way she wrote Cadence, Shiro and Adrienne. Her understanding of Multiple Personality Disorder is excellent and it shows in her writing. Each sister has her own personality with their own set of looks and quirks which Ms. Davidson handled superbly. I simply can't say any more great things about this book without being repetitive.

The story was great and action packed, though for me it lagged in the middle. I absolutely loved the ending though. I've been waiting for the things that happened in the last two chapters for a very long time. I have to say that though I will miss Riley and the gang, I think Ms. Arthur chose the right time to end the series.

Betsy is off to Cape Cod to take Antonia's body back to her Pack. Not only does she feel bad about Antonia's death, but she's not sure what to expect from the Werewolves when she gets there. Tagging along with her is her husband Sinclair, her best friend Jessica and her ward (and baby brother) BabyJon. The Pack is in mourning and trying to play the blame game when it comes to dealing with the death. They also seem to have an aversion to Betsy's ward. Can all the finger pointing be settled or will there be a war between the two sides? And will they figure out why the Werewolves have a problem with the BabyJon?

Meanwhile, back on the home front, things aren't going well. Betsy's sister Laura is being followed by Satan worshipers and Marc, Betsy's housemate and friend, thinks that he's doing a good thing by suggesting ideas to Laura on what to do with them. Little does he know that it's backfired. Now there are Satanists all over the house, Tina, Sinclair's right hand woman, is missing, their cell service has been shut off and Marc can't get ahold of Betsy. Oh, and Marc's keeping a journal of it all. Have things been pushed to far to recover from?

This is another excellent read from MaryJanice Davidson. I howled with laughter while reading this, especially Marc's journal entries. Unfortunately, this is the second to the last book in the series and while I hate to see this series end I have to say that I can't wait to get my hands on the last book.

Jazz is a witch that likes her life the way it is. She's a curse eliminator and she also drives limo for a company that caters to the paranormal. When Nick Gregory shows up in her life again she knows it's not a social call.

Nick is a vampire and an investigator. His newest assignment is to find out what's happening to a long list of vampires that are going missing more and more often. He has an idea of who's behind it, but he needs Jazz's help.

This is a good story with quirky characters. Jazz and Nick have to over come their turbulent past to work together in the here and now. There are other things that happen within the story line that show Jazz's abilities with magic and other characters that I have a feeling that we will see in the next few books. I have to say that I love Irma the ghost and Fluff and Puff (Jazz's bunny slippers). They made me laugh.
