So, this is the part that I sometimes dread when creating a profile on a social networking site. I'm not that great at talking about myself.

Where to begin, where to begin...hmm? First of all, I am a UNC-Chapel Hill grad...GO TARHEELS! Just thought I'd add that...pay it no mind. I currently work in customer service. So, yes, I work a basic 9 to 5, which gives me time to read. YAY! I am addicted to the written word, meaning I'm not a huge fan of e-books. I'm all about holding a book in my hand and smelling the pages. Have you ever noticed the smell? It's that smell and those words that open up a world of imagination and trigger memories of stories long forgotten.

Oh...I majored in journalism. I'm a writer, if you hadn't caught that by now. Anyway, I love to read and write, and I'm proud to say that I am the mother of a 12-year-old daughter who also loves the written word. She's going through a Rick Riordan phase right now. I chose to become a member of this community because I want to network with fellow bookworms such as myself. I welcome feedback about any books you've read that you think I may be interested in reading, and I'll be happy to give any feedback about books I've read that you may be interested in reading. « less
