Dandelion,Thanks for joining Mentoring Men. We are thrilled to have you as a member. I hope you enjoy yourself and make many new friendships. I look forward to all of your contributions to the group and I hope you find nuggets to take with you as well. If you haven't already, please stop by the Introduction thread and tell everyone about yourself and right into the on-going discussions. Please feel free to begin new ones. Please add books that would help empower men to our group We've Read shelf.Make yourself at home. You are welcome.
I haven't considered it. I like to read about and compare religions and religious beliefs on my own, but I'm not so into joining or starting a group to do so.
No, but I saw it on your shelf and was interested. I might pick that one up.Believe me, I did not BEGIN my journey with A Course in Miracles. That is probably the most advanced spiritualist work I've ever seen! I go back and forth between my other books and turn to that one much as a Christian might turn to the Bible. :)
That you for your note, dandy! :)It comes at a very timely crossroads right now. I'm struggling with placing closure on the past, and not sure how to detach myself from the outcome. It's easy to give others advice about what the right path is, but quite a bit harder to apply it to ourselves. I thought I had figured out how to make my ego hush up, but this situation appeared in my life again, is very emotionally charged, and it's hard to find the peace in it as yet.I appreciate your words of encouragement! :)Thank you. And, no, I haven't completed the lessons yet. I find the book very rich and requires a lot of thought, and I want to get through the text before I begin on the lessons.
unfortunately i found that this book was translated beforedo you know any other decent book?i mean a newer bookgood kuck
