“I simply loved this book, Mia was one of the strong black women you like to read about. She is a single black mother with two children, independent, taking care of her sister and attaining her career goals. She has been having bad luck finding a good man then along comes Tyrone, back in her life after being absent because of a 9 year prison sentence this is where the story gets good. I like Keith Thomas Walkers writing because he writes women like he understands them; I like it because he writes about everyday people, with real challenges and goals a normal person can attain. When Mia and Tyrone form the plan, it was a plan anyone could do, I really liked that. I liked this book so much that I smiled most of the time I was reading it and found myself staying up all night to complete it. I now know I have to read every book this author has written, because his writing is that good. Great job Mr. Walker you keep writing and I will keep reading your books.”
