I'm a New England girl, born and bred, on temporary exile in the deep South. Having a wonderful time in Faulkners universe. I'm an artist, mixed media, polymer clay, water colours, fabirc, ephemera...whatever isn't nailed down or whatever I can tear up. I'm into SteamPunk and modern Edwardianism, pretty but not cute, originals or re-inventions, not re-pop. I read Vogue but I'm not a fashion plate. I respect Shakespeare because I think he is funny and not just classic. I believe walking straight doesn't mean one has to have a stick up one's private places. I love automatons but hate drive-thrus. I believe in long soaks in bubbly water, large glasses of sweet wine, fireflies, summer evenings, fall afternoons, log burning fireplaces (is there really any other kind?), ecology, economy, extravagance, thoughtfullness, Trader Joes, live theater, home movies, real silk, Godiva chocolate, that being kind is under-rated, sentimentality should never be out-of-style, and that doing it yourself should be a movement and not just a tv channel but that doing it for someone else because you can help is even better. Idleness is the Devil's workshop. Cruel words inflict more damage than swords, and that weapons that have the capability of killing people the person wielding them does not know, has never seen, has never touched, and especially has no reason to hate, are the greatest obscenity ever created.....ooohh and don't forget that long slow deep kisses that last for three days thing too.....
