I work in IT, stuff involving technical support at a small but totally excellent web design company. It's pretty good. I live work and play in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

Books that I enjoy generally involve satirical or dark humour, fantasy/sci fi or Murder Mystery/Police Procedural themes, and a bit of supernatural romance (the good stuff like anything by Nalini Singh, Kelley Armstrong or Joey W Hill, not the lame stuff like Twilight) and re-visioned mythology like the Juliet Marillier books.

I also dig non-fiction books featuring New Zealand landscapes and wildlife, photography and art of all kinds.
