Claudio, I found your shelf by following the link from Carpentier's 'Explosion in the Cathedral,' a spectacular book. And after seeing Schopenhauer on your shelf as well as many other familiar titles, I smiled at the thought that literature synchronizes the lives of so many people who never meet one another. Your collection also made me remember that I read Jorge Amado many years ago, and perhaps should pick him up again. Cheers.
