CRwM

I'm a freelance editor, published writer (no, trust me, nothing anybody anywhere at any time has ever read), and compulsive reader of dubious taste.

I'm not very tall and no longer all that young. I'm rounder than I maybe should be. more »

I see you have read Washington The Indespensable Man. I wanted to invite you to check out a group: The Chronological Read of American History at http://www.shelfari.com/groups/34700/about

We are reading biographies of presidents in order. Hope to see you there.

My pleasure, CRwM--I figure, the publishers still don't have a good method for communicating with readers, so all we have is each other. So if there's someone else who should know, pass it on. And for what it's worth, I *really* liked the ending. Thanks!

See your shelf is loaded with Vachss books. You know the final Burke novel ships December 30?

Thanks for the head's up on Thuglit. Found some good stuff there. I submitted something last month with no expectations. Anyway, thanks.

Great, I'll hunt it down. 'Preciate it. So far, the anthology-like series I read most is Murdaland: Crime Fiction for the 21st Century. One I read recently has a great short by Ken Bruen, my fave. Some contributions are a little hokey, but hey. Anyway, great to e-meet you, and thanks for the suggestion.

Hey, thanks for the add. I found you by way of Kevin Young's "To Repel Ghosts." Dr. Young was one of my poetry professors, and I keep a close eye on his work...so anyone who appreciates his treatment of Basquiat and '80s culture is a friend of mine! If you haven't read "Jelly Roll," Kevin Young's next volume, then I recommend it (although it does convey a very Southern tone).
