I am a 30 something LPN, and I LOVE animals. I have a parrot, a catahoula cur, an iguana, 5 ferrets, a ball python, 2 guinea pigs, and a leopard gecko.

I love the water. I could park it next to the water or in the water and read all day. I could seriously live in a boat or something as long as I had my animals.

It wasn't my favorite in the series but I still enjoyed it. I wish there would have been more romance involved. I look forward to the next and last book to see how it all ends.

I've been wanting to read this for awhile but I was disappointed. It was a very slow read and hard to make myself finish it. I really don't understand what the point of it all was. It was well written and held my interest every now and then but was mostly boring.

4.5 stars. This is my second Jim Fergus book and I must say I think he is now my favorite fiction author. He is such a good storyteller and moves me so deeply to my core. I can't wait to read more of his books! One Thousand White Women is my favorite of these two so far.

2.5 out of 5 stars. I was mostly bored as I read this. I was intrigued by the plot so I made myself finish it. There were so many times I wanted to quit reading. The ending was ok I guess. Not a book I would recommend.

WOW. This is more than just some behind the scenes stuff from the show Ghost Adventures. This has a lot of theories in it that were very interesting. Some of it a little over my head but mostly I understood it all. I agreed with most everything he believed. I enjoyed hearing some about his life. And who knew how intelligent he was. Highly recommend if you are remotely interested in ghosts.

I really like this author but I was disappointed in this book. At first I couldn't put it down but then well how do I put this...the main character was just...stupid.

One of the best books ever written. I was deeply moved by this story. I couldn't put it down.

I don't know why I didn't like this book. I forced myself to read this for over 2 weeks and could just never get into it, hence why it took so long. Seemed like it would be good, but I was just bored. I read over half and couldn't finish.

What a tough book to read. 90% of this book was written in phonetics and I had a HARD TIME reading it. I constantly had to read and re-read sentences to figure out what she was saying and then sometimes I still didn't know. The book wasn't special enough to endure that. I wish I had stopped reading. There was ONE good quote I liked though..."Love is lak de sea. It’s uh movin’ thing, but still and all, it takes its shape from de shore it meets, and it’s different with every shore.” That was one of the easier sentences to understand!
