I have been in love with the printed word since I learned how to read. My mom said before that I nagged her head off to read me stories day and night. Learning to read stopped that and began a journey which I think will take the rest of my life (and preferably afterwards).
I devour books of most kinds - fat, thin, with pictures, without pictures, only pictures, arty-farty, children's, scary, loopy, Bengali and English. But generally keep away from bestsellers. (Except dear ol' Harry).
But let's finish it here and get on with the reading.
Buzz off now! You have nothing better to read or what?
Note: My Shelf is the mother list of books I have read and am reading and will read someday. Not necessarily I possess all of them. Begged, borrowed and stolen stuff. (Yes, I admit to reading self-help books and Sheldon.)
My Top 10 list will probably run into hundreds. These are my favourites.
My reading list comprises books that are on my bedside table and are in various stages of completion.
My Wish List has the books I plan to buy and read in the future.
From today (17th September), My Wish List books are not a part of My Shelf.
(Not fair, considering I have not even got my hands on them yet.)
Too lazy to remove the books which were common before.
