My mother taught me how to read when I was three years old and I haven't stopped since. I read my first Stephen King book when I was 10, Salem's Lot, and spent most of the time under my blankets with a flashlight reading after my bed time. My mother taught me how to read when I was three years old and I haven't stopped since. I read my first Stephen King book when I was 10, Salem's Lot, and spent most of the time under my blankets with a flashlight reading after my bed time. I did have a very extensive library but a move from RI to Ireland forced me to part with over 2000 books. With more moves overseas I have cut back on paper books and have moved onto e-books due to lack of space and the fact that I couldn't face the loss of more books if I move again.

I read all sorts of books. Fiction, non fiction, horror, crime, thrillers and so on. I have an eclectic collection and am always on the look out for new reads that sometimes get me to think and others just to loose myself in a good story. « less
