I am from southwest, La. I have a BA from Northwestern State University (in Natchitoches, La) and an MMC from the University of Florida, both in communications with a concentration in public relations. I spent a summer in Zambia (that's in Africa, I get that question a lot) working with Project Concern International creating written materials for community and donor relations. I am now working in Louisiana as a case manager at the AIDS council.
Reading is my constant and unyielding passion. I go in and out of phases, but reading is what gets me through some days. I love fantasy, magic realism, classic literature, humor, horror, and everything in between. A book and a good cup of community coffee, and I'm in heaven. Aside from books, I have a passion for photography, travel, great food, and intelligent conversation and debate.
