Good evening..PageMaster,here,was recently referred to this site by a group member,..all I can say is...Where has this site been hiding!..I am ,and have always been a voracious reader,I crave discussions on books I have read, and sharing those views with others..when I joined Shelfari, this was the very first group that attracted my attention.I look forward to sharing many opinions ..I do have one question,however..how do I go about puttting myself into the "50 book Mix"..what is the process?..I am eager to get started..hope to hear from you soon..Have a Great One!

    Hi Coyotemusic--

I have a list that I started on 11/19/07, and I was so close to finishing, but it's disappeared!! I used to be able to search discussions and find it to update it, but now it's gone! Can you help? It was called "Tara C.'s list -- 11/19/07". I have no other record of it besides in here!

No problem -you don't have to keep them on - I put signatures on everything I write - from emails to notes - I'll try to remember when talking to you to keep them off - since you are the first one to mention it - should be easy to remember ;-) but if I slip and forget - just delete them after.

Thanks Coyotemusic. For now I used the search discussions. I do know about when I used it last time, but when I go even 80 pages back, mine is just not between them and because of people using the search discussion it doesn't order them anymore nicely by last time you used them. Now I used the search discussion but it didn't come on the first page/last posted page.
    Thanks

You really think that Breaking Dawn is worth finishing?? I probably will, but most likely when this semester is over though. Thank you for the comment.

Thanks for your opinion on Coelho. I am reading Valkyries now, but must say I enjoyed Zahir more. I was thinking of discussing one of his more recent books as an example of his works - good or bad. Alchemist is well known and hailed as his best. But what about the rest? The Zahir might suit my purpose because it has lots of cross references to his other books. I will still read 'river', so cannot comment right now.

I have tried 2 diff moore books (one was lamb) and just couldnt read him. dunno. weirdly enough - while i read a LOT of vampire/paranormal etc, I dont care for any 'sacreligous' content or truly much religion in my books. I gotta be a weird one.

Sadly, while my tbr pile grows, I am often actively seeking new books off my wish list. Fortunately I do read a lot. And this has been a great place for me to keep track of what I already have so I no longer buy 3 copies of the same book! I will check out Ruff - thank you!
