High school librarian: I read many YA books, partly because I like to keep up with books and authors to recommend to my students, but mostly just because I enjoy them.

Right a bit late. but better late than never. the beedle the bard book is ok. Short stories, more like fairy tales. Interesting read if you really like harry Potter.

Thank you! It really pays to have a librarian on your "hand-selling" team. And I appreciate it. Word of mouth is so huge for books.

    Hey Lucy,
Did ou read breaking dawn yet? I jsut finished last night. i read all 4 books in a week. LOL. I loved it, not because it's excellentaly well written, but because I suppose it was the bit of me that is a hopeless romantic, and all that teen passion and melodramtci feelings pair with that perfectly. Defiitely for the teen reader, but I enjoyed them all. I'm sad they are over really. There's a lot more she could have done with it. and yeah sappy as they are, happy endings are wonderful :)

In its infancy the subject was referred to as "buttonology" (the sorting of buttons, I suppose?) in Denmark :)

I sometimes wish I was a librarian instead of an archaeologist, though. At the moment I'm working in Northern Norway, and working outside in 9 celsius and rain is not necessarily fun...

    Hey Lulu.
Hm. I would say that there is some graphic sexual content. it's not "anatomically" graphic, but indeed graphic enough,, plus there is plenty of curisng. so i think it owuld depned on the teenager if it were appropraite or not. me it would have been, osme other people, prolly not.

Just popped on to your page to see what's new with you book-wise. I really need to update my shelf here with a few new purchases I've made. See you around, Lulu!

The zephyr fizzed and cracked, but the dog was stolid. It did not move from beside the rockfall. The pangs of hunger distorted his sense of irony, but he still composed sonnets in the leafy thickness. He heard a thin voice; "Clinton, is that you?". The dog licked his master's hand and saw a watery smile. He retired back to the lakeside and tried to sleep; halting momentarily for a quick lick of his 'essentials'. How his Mummy had loved calling them by that name. Happy days.
