I'm a casino dealer, have been one for over 10 years now. I love to read, as seen by my bookshelf, paranormals. If it has vampires, werewolves, zombies, spirits, etc., then I'm more than likely reading it. Glad to have found Shelfari and all the people I have met so far.

    Thanks ever so much for your review of Sword and Shadow. I'm glad you liked it. The sequel, Death of Heroes, will be out in print in February but, in the meantime, might I recommend Tales from the Magitech Lounge? It's my favorite of my books so far and what few reviews it's received have been excellent.

    Death of Heroes is Morrigan's story, and goes into a bit more detail about ArchAngel, who appears at the end of S&S.

    Thanks for the friendship request. Just had a quick browse of your shelf and liked what I saw. Some book covers I was drawn too so I might ask you whether they would make a good read, if that's ok? Always attracted to the pretty pictures LOL.

    So you're a casino dealer. That's cool. I've been to Vegas twice. Not really into gambling to be honest. Wouldn't have a clue what to do and probably loose what little I have. I love the spectacle and the shows and the lights.

    I have about 35 e books myself. I bought some because they are part of a series I was reading and they didn't publish that book. Others I wanted to read and it is lighter in weight to take a 1.5 lb mini laptop with 15 e books on the plane than 10 books that weight 7 or more lbs. With restrictions of 50 lbs that takes up space I don't have. I only read them when traveling though, I listen more to audio (mp3) while working and driving. I'm self employed so it's allowed. That way I can listen to 2-3 books a week and read about 4 full size, or 6 books under 200 pages. Still going to take years to get though my 2600 TBR book pile!

    thanks for your reply, I will keep an eye out for the book you are now reading. Your user name caught my attention with a smile. I work in a library (don't get excited it's in a University....full of reference books!) and I'm known as the Shelving goddess. It's nice for us women to be referred as goddesses, don't you think? Happy reading to you too, I'm about to start another in the Immortal series.
