doing good rahul
waiting for the movie 'japnese wife'
million apologies. could not write back. once you find a book boring, move on. dont let it slow you down :)
khobor bahlo e.. goto 3 mashey onke boi porlam.. idaning 'of humanbondage' porchi aarekbar :)
yes. read quite a few. different authors different subjects
leave? you can say that. dont work any more and dont plan to for the next couple of years :)
hey was away for a while - travelling, visiting etc.. hence.. the narnia series is a good one.. the witch the wardrobe etc.. actually all of them :)
happy reading
i did send you my gmail id... anyway, for the record (again) :-), check ur mail, am mailing you again. I don't want to give out my id here.
Thank God you added the asterix in the word "***y".. I'd have been going red in the cheeks otherwise... ;)
Sister's keeper's great till now... you could try it... It's the kind I like. Try reading about the first 20 pages or so, if you're not hooked by then, drop the book. :-)
Happy reading!
Hey.... so what's up? New books on the shelf mean more added to the wish list. I can barely manage to read more than 2 books simultaneously, which is also the least I need at a given point of time, juggling between authors helps keeps the boredom and monotony away... Altho' of course, there's nothing like a grasping title, but so few are that good. :-)
Hey, did I mention I tend to ramble on? ;-)
thanks..... what u reading? still tokyo canceled?? I'm onto a new one called "etudes" by aseem kaul... good one
yes would definitely recommend q and a. much better than the movie.. and definitely much better than white tiger which got the bookers this year..
finished baltasar and blimunda.. and then finished q and a. waiting for six suspects to come by..
nothing much.. reading baltasar and blimunda by jose saramago.. tough read hence going very slow. the sentences keep jumping from past to present, first person to third person and confuses the reader.. but a very interesting read :)
hey life of pie is a fantanstic book by yan martel.
the end leaves you wondering as to what you perceived and what it really was..
Nope.... what's it about? Oh wait, lemme check it out online. SO, do you like the book?
life of Pi..... oh oh.... never been able to bring myself to read heavy stuff........ altho' I did finish "the five people you meet in heaven" and it was nice... thought-provoking in some bits actually... :-)
hi rahul sorry for the delay in replies.. was tied up with so many things..
just starting the partisan's daughter.
also have heard about a great book called india after nehru lets see how it turns out
Hi there, just finished "By the river Piedra I sat down and wept" by paulo coelho. I always had this book, just couldn't bring myself to read coelho. One day was so bored at work that i started it, got so interested in it that i finished by the time the day was over. :-)
Didn't get much work done of course in the process. but that's okay i guess, once in a while. What about u?
yes have read this series... eragon eldest and the last one has not yet happened.... my son's collection has all 3.
Well... if you're a fan of Harry Potter, you'll totally like thsi book. It's not action packed like the 7 series, nor very profound. It's simply cute. And like they say, somethings are meant to be stored till posterity. I don't regret collectign this copy.
